My clients wants to use paypal on his website as a way for customers to pay for workshops. Is this possible?

    Hi kelli,

Have you checked out our ticketing plugins? We have five that work with different ecommerce engines, most (if not all) of which can accept PayPal. Your client could have users buy “tickets” for each workshop, and pay that way. Would that meet your needs? You can read more about each ticketing plugin under the Products menu.

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve never created an e-commerce website other than adding PayPal buttons. Will this be quite complex to create?

Another question is … my client’s current site that I’m going to rebuild has a link to third-party site for their registration. Would it be easy to link the calendar entries to that if I don’t use one of your ticketing plugins?

If it’s not difficult to implement, I’d prefer to use your way. Unfortunately, I don’t think their budget will allow for me to do this if it’s complex. Any ballpark guess as to how long it’d take for an e-commerce noob to implement?

    Hi Jodi,

Setting up an ecommerce site can be complex if you have complex needs, but a basic setup is pretty straightforward. I recommend you check out our WooCommerce Tickets New User Primer to see some of the set up. You can also explore the WooCommerce website. They have lots of helpful documentation for the ecommerce plugin itself. I would guess that you could get a basic setup going in just a few hours.

If you decide to stick with the third-party ticketing system, you can link to them from an event’s description. Some users have even customized our plugin to display a tickets button or similar. Does that answer your questions?

    Best,

    Leah
