MemberHi there,
I’m sorry we didn’t see your previous question here.
We were able to work on this issue for our upcoming 3.8 release. Keep an eye out on your site for an update announcement! If you update and are still seeing this problem, please post a new thread so we can check it out. Thank you for your patience while we got this fix in place.

MemberHi Oliver,
Some of those are caused by incorrect text domains in the php files. The other ones (including the “Use New…”) will be fixed in the upcoming 3.8 release. Thanks for your patience 🙂

MemberHi Oliver,
I just wanted to let you know that we figured out the “View All 5” thing- it is in the newest (3.8) pot file, but you’ll find it as a plural under a different “View…” string. This will be available for 3.8 which is coming soon 🙂

MemberHi nicekicks,
Generally, The Events Calendar will use whatever language you have specified under the WordPress General settings. However, we don’t have a translation file for en_GB because no one has ever volunteered to make one. We’d love to have you make one, if you’re willing. Then you could set you site to en_GB and have the calendar use it too. I’d be happy to give you a 30% off coupon for the plugin of your choice in exchange for your work.
Check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need to do that.

Leah

MemberHi Oliver,
Thanks again for the report. Most of the issues you’ve mentioned have been fixed in the upcoming 3.8. I am looking into the issue with “View All 5….” in Month View. We can’t use the file you hardcoded since then everyone’s would be in German, but I’m glad you were able to do that for your site.
I will be sure to add your updated translation for 3.8. And I’ll email you with some coupons 🙂

Leah

MemberHi Oliver,
You are so good at spotting translation problems, thank you! We’ve been doing our own translation testing every release, and we also caught these issues. Happily, they are fixed in the next upcoming release of the plugin. Thanks for your patience while we finish up and release 3.8! 🙂

MemberHi Oliver,
Yes that’s correct- the strings should reference tribe-events-calendar instead of tribe-events-calendar-pro.

MemberHi smileadm,
Yes, we can certainly help you. Can you tell me what versions of The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, and WordPress you are currently running? Also, can you confirm that you have your PRO license key entered under Events –> Settings –> License Keys on your site?

Leah

MemberHi Žiga,
Thank you for posting and for helping out with the translations. These files look great and I’ll be adding them to the next release of the plugin. I’ll be sure to credit you in the readme.
Please note that as highlighted at the top of the Translation Forum pages, translations are only checked once a week. That’s why you didn’t receive a response earlier. Now that I’ve had time to process it, I will email you with coupons for your free licenses.
About that the “No events scheduled for %s. Please try another day.” string is currently assigned the wrong text domain. It has been ticketed and will hopefully be fixed in the next release. Then the translations should work.
Best,
Leah
