Participanthello,
For some reason this message is at the top of my website’s back-end all the time
Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Events Calendar add-ons. Please update now.
I have clicked update now and get this message – The plugin is at the latest version.
these are the versions I have of your products
The Events Calendar – Version 3.4.1
The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets Version 3.3
The Events Calendar PRO Version 3.4I am aware there is a new version of these plugins as I received an email saying “Modern Tribe’s entire plugin suite has reached version 3.5”. I could not see any info in the email about how to update…
I also have some unrelated questions/suggestions… should I put them here or ask in another discussion?
Thanks,
AlexApril 28, 2014 at 3:18 pm #144785Leah
MemberHi Alex,
Thanks for your note, and for including all that helpful info. You are indeed a few versions behind- the most recent versions are The Events Calendar 3.5.2, Events Calendar PRO 3.5.2, and WooCommerce Tickets 3.5.
To update the premium plugins, you need a valid license entered under Events –> Settings –> License Keys. I see that you have a valid WooCommerce Tickets license, but you’ll need to purchase one for PRO if you want to continue using that plugin as well. Once you have a valid license entered on that page, you will see update prompts on your Plugins page and your WordPress Updates page. You’ll also want to do an update for The Events Calendar to get it up to 3.5.
I recommend that you check out our License Key and Update tutorials for some video walkthroughs. If you need any further help, please just post here and I’ll help you out. Thanks for your support!
Best,
Leah

ParticipantHi, sorry for any confusion, ^^^that was actually me (that is our developers account, he purchased the events calendar pro, I, on the other hand, have purchased the woocommerce tickets, so they are on two separate accounts π is there anyway to get them onto one account?)
Thanks,

MemberHi Alex,
There isn’t a way to directly transfer a license to a different account. However, next time one of the licenses is up for renewal (looks like that’ll be January 2015), send us an email to pro(at)tri.be and explain the situation. We can help you get a new license at the discounted renewal price, and make sure that both licenses get on the same account. We recommend that both licenses go into your account so that you have control over them (as opposed to them both going in your developer’s account). Will that work for you?
Best,
Leah

MemberHi smileadm,
Yes, we can certainly help you. Can you tell me what versions of The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, and WordPress you are currently running? Also, can you confirm that you have your PRO license key entered under Events –> Settings –> License Keys on your site?
Best,
Leah

Participantsmileadm,
Sorry that you’re running into troubles here, but hopefully I can help! It’s possible that your license key for PRO is expired, which would prevent your ability to update. To check, go to your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Events->Settings->Licenses’ and then click ‘Save Changes’. Are you seeing that your PRO key says ‘expired’ or anything like that? If not, it’s possible that you’ll need to login with the ‘alexg’ user account and verify that the license key entered is correct.Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! π
