MemberHi Ray,
Sorry for the delayed response. We don’t do support over Skype or PM, but we’re happy to continue helping you here and potentially over email if necessary.
I just wanted to let you know that Barry has been out today and we don’t provide support over the weekend, but he’ll be back in touch with you asap next week to continue working through this.
Thank you for your patience.

MemberHi Cynthia,
I’m not sure how that could have gone missing. I recommend that you re-download and install the plugin, just in case for some strange reason anything else is missing. But I know that can be a pain sometimes, so if you’d like just send me an email at [email protected] and I’ll send you the images files.
Cheers,
LeahLeah
MemberThanks Simon. If you don’t mind, I’ll close this thread up. But don’t hesitate to reply if you’ve got more questions or start a new thread.
Thanks,

MemberHi Petter,
Can you explain a little more? You said you’re running the current version of the Events Calendar (2.0.9)- what is it you are about to upgrade from 2.0.6?
If you can tell me a bit more about the issues you’re having I’d be happy to help out.
Cheers,

MemberHi Rob,
Have you read over our guide on using Genesis at https://theeventscalendar.com/tutorial-integrating-the-events-calendar-w-genesis/? That might help point you in the right direction. If you need more assistance, feel free to post again here.

MemberHey rrobinlive,
I responded to your post in the Pro forums since it sounds like this is really an issue with the broader Events Calendar plugin and not just Eventbrite. I’m going to close this ticket and we can continue working on the issue in the other forum.
Thanks,

MemberHi rrobinlive,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Can you send me the link to the calendar on your site so I can see the disappearing toggle buttons? Also, when you say the listview doesn’t show- do you get an error, or does the page just show blank, or is it something else? If you can get me a bit more info I’ll do my best to help.
Thanks,

MemberHi Paul,
The community submitted events do not differ from regular events, except in the way they are created. You can choose in the settings whether you’d like submitted events to be saved as drafts or published immediately, so you can distinguish them at first if you’d like. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Dave,
The current version of Events Calendar is 2.0.9 and I’d highly recommend upgrading. We can’t provide support with outdated versions. Similarly I’d recommend that you upgrade to WordPress 3.4.2 (the latest version) for optimal functionality. With both of those outdated, there are bound to be problems.
If you’d still like to download the Events Calendar 1.3.3, send us an email at [email protected] and I can help you out. Just keep in mind that we can’t provide support when you’re running such an outdated version.
Thanks,
LeahLeah
MemberHey Austin- sorry you’re having trouble. Are you using the most recent version of the plugin (1.0.2)? This was a bug in 1.0 that was patched, but if it’s occurring again in the current version we’d like to know more. If you are running the latest version, would you mind starting a thread about this in the main forum (as opposed to the feature request list) so we can troubleshoot?
Thanks,

MemberAwesome Kyle! Thanks for letting me know.

MemberForgive me Heinz, I wasn’t thinking it through when I answered that question. Adding an organizer page from the menu option does not give you a list of that organizer’s events. As you are probably experiencing, that only gives you a page with the organizers name and, if comments are enabled, a comment box. I assume that’s what you mean by an “almost empty page”?
We don’t yet have an organizer page like the one you want built into the plugin. Really, we should remove that box from the menu builder until we add the feature. That’s totally our bad. I’m very sorry for the confusion, and I’ll get that taken care of ASAP. Meanwhile, if you want a list of all events by one organizer I’m afraid you’ll need to do some custom coding.
I apologize again for my mistake and the lack of the feature. Hopefully we’ll get that in an upcoming release since it would be a very useful feature to include.
Best,

MemberHi Chris,
1. I believe I understand what you’re saying. That difference in URLs is normal behavior, as our event URLs do differ from the regular post URLs and are not influenced in the same way by the permalink option. If you want the URLs to be similar the best way is to set your permalinks to Post Name so the regular posts are at site/post name and events are at site/events/event name. That being said, I’m going to request that we streamline this in an upcoming release so that the event urls match up across the board with post urls. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
4. You’re not the only one experiencing this problem, and we’ve helped a couple users in the forum with a patch. Check out these threads:
Both Start and End dates showing in sidebar widget regardless of settings
I think those will help you out. We’ll have the fix built into our next release (2.0.10) but hopefully the above can tide you over until then. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you need more help. Thanks for your patience and support.
Best,
LeahLeah
MemberHi Heinz,
Do you have pretty permalinks enabled in Settings–>Permalinks? That may solve both problems.
If you’d like to make a menu item with events from a specific organizer, the best way to go is to use the Organizers box on the Menu page (http://d.pr/i/OKov). Select the organizer(s) you want to link to and click Add to Menu.
If you are still having the auto-draft problem after double checking pretty permalinks, could you provide us some specific steps to recreate the problem? Also, if you have a test or demo site available, it would help us to know if the same thing occurs when you have deactivated other plugins and reverted to the default Twenty Eleven theme. From there we’ll be able to begin more in-depth troubleshooting.
Cheers,
