MemberHey prokopis,
Thanks for your interest. I’ll do my best to get all your questions answered.
–>What is your policy for a refund if eventually I can not use your plugin as i need? within how many days should I ask for a refound? 15? 30? 45?
I’ve answered this in your other thread.
–>can be include on the first page event posts and categories , as normal posts and categories?
In the current version (2.0.11) you can put have events act as posts with a little custom code. In the upcoming 3.0 release, you can do this with just a settings change. However, in both situations the categories are still Event Categories rather than Post Categories.
–>Can i change the word “event” to the post link to something else? (for SEO reasons)
Are you referring to the URL slug? In that case, yes, you can change it as needed. However you cannot change the word event in the rest of the plugin, such as were it says “Upcoming Events” on a page.
–>Can the public send me their own events, can I place this code on any page I want?
If you use our Community Events plugin, users can submit their own events for your calendars. I don’t totally understand the second part of your question though. You would be able to edit the events submitted.
–>Most importantly: how can I transfer my event posts from all in one event calendar plugin to your plugin, with full structure (categories, tags, dates, futured images)
We do not have a specific way to do this. You might be able to use a plugin like this CSV Importerto do it. However, we certainly can’t guarantee that all the info would come over properly. It might actually be simplest to have a developer write a custom program that would do it. I recommend that you experiment with moving events from your existing site to our free core plugin, The Events Calendar. If events transfer there, they’ll work with Events Calendar PRO and other premium plugins too.
I hope that answered your questions. If you need any clarification, just let me know.
Cheers,

MemberHi prokopis,
Thanks for your interest and for checking on the refund policy before purchasing.
We can provide refunds in some situations. However, we expect potential buys to read through our FAQs, tutorials, product pages, etc. to make sure the plugin has the functionality you’re looking for. If you buy a plugin and aren’t satisfied with the functionality when that was explicitly stated in the documentation, we unfortunately won’t be able to provide a refund. Please also note that we cannot provide refunds in any circumstances if it has been 30 days or more since your purchase.
I highly recommend that you download the free plugin, The Events Calendar, and play around with it to make sure you like it. Then you can choose from there if you want to purchase one of the premium add-ons. Also, you can always ask questions in this forum before you purchase.
Cheers,

MemberHi Larry,
Thanks for your interest! Events Calendar PRO gives you added calendar functionality like recurring events, advanced widgets, venue pages, and more. Community Events, on the other hand, allows visitors to your site to submit their events to the calendar from the front end. Community Events can be used with PRO (if you want the PRO features too) or with the free core plugin, The Events Calendar.
I’d be happy to elaborate, but that’s the simple explanation and will hopefully help you decide which plugins you need 🙂

MemberHi Carlos,
Thanks for getting in touch. The plugin does not support multiple calendars by default. However, you can achieve a similar effect by using categories. For example, each classroom could be it’s own event category. Then you can call a calendar with the events from that category, and it will effectively show as a separate calendar. Hopefully, you could then do some custom coding or use a third party plugin so that users (parents) only had access to one category of events.
At this time there is no way to subscribe to a particular calendar or category, but I really like the idea. I’d love to have you submit it in our UserVoice forum so we’ll consider adding it in a future release. In the meantime, you’d probably need to use a third party plugin and/or some custom code to get this to work.
I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help, but hopefully that at least answered your questions. You might want to download the free plugin, The Events Calendar, and play around with that a bit. Let me know if I answer any other questions.
Cheers,

MemberHi Becky,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO. They are pretty sweet plugins if I do say so myself 🙂
1. Can users login with facebook?
2. If so, are their avatars imported?Any user login in features will depend on your WordPress site’s user setup and plugin configurations. Our plugins do not themselves allow user login, etc., but work with the existing WP features. Many of our users use another plugin like BuddyPress to add user functionality to their site. Any Facebook or avatar integration would depend on the other plugin’s features.
3. What widgets are available?
The Events Calendar comes with a basic upcoming events widget. Events Calendar PRO comes with an Advanced List widget as well as a Calendar widget. You can check those out on the product page. In PRO 3.0 (coming soon) there is also a countdown widget and venue widget.
4. Facebook events – is that for Admin or users?
Facebook Events allows site admins to import events from Facebook.
5. Is there a way to generate revenue – like a “featured post”?
There is not a revenue generating feature built into the plugin, although it might be possible to get something similar with a third party plugin or some custom coding.
6. Are there themes that work better than others?
Yes and no. We make sure our plugins work with the default WordPress themes, and work hard to make sure they are as versatile and adaptable as possible to work with a wide variety of themes. However, due to the sheer number of themes possibilities out there, we cannot guarantee that the plugin will work 100% with your theme, or that it’ll look perfect right out of the box. We recommend that you try your theme of choice with the free core plugin before upgrading to PRO. If it looks nice with The Events Calendar, it’s very likely that it’ll look good with PRO as well.
7. Can you add a default image for each category if user does not post one?
I’m not sure I understand what you mean- there isn’t a way to have images for categories, although you can have images for events, venues, and organizers. In that case yes, you can add those from the backend.
8. Can you color code categories?
Yes! In fact, one of our fans wrote a free add-on plugin that does just this. You can download it here.
Hopefully that’s answered all your questions. Let me know if I can be of any further help.
Cheers,

MemberHey there,
Thanks for your interest in Events Calendar PRO! Sounds like a cool site you’re working on.
We are organized into 5 distinct geographic regions, and the teachers are all tagged in their profiles with the region they are in. Each region has a separate page on the site and I’d love to have the events FROM THAT REGION ONLY display on the regional page
One way to do this without any custom code would be to assign events to different categories based on region (e.g. Category 1 = Region 1, Category 2 = Region 2, etc.). Then you could have individual menu links to the different category calendars.
In Events Calendar 3.0, we’re added Event tags. So another solution might be for you to tag events with region names and then do a bit of custom coding to call only certain tags in a calendar view.
and in my wildest dreams, have an individual teacher’s list of events show up on their profile page.
Events Calendar PRO 3.0 includes Organizer pages. These are similar to the Venue pages that exist in PRO 2.0.11, listing details about each organizer and a list of their upcoming events. You could link to this page from a teacher’s profile, or use it as a replacement.
it would be great to be able to search for events by country, teacher, date and type
Good news! After our 3.0 release, we’ll be releasing a cool new Filters plugin that will allow users to filter events by category, tag, venue, organizer, day of the week, and more. Additionally, our PRO 3.0 release includes the ability to search by date, keyword, and location. You can check out video walkthroughs of both of these features (and more!) here.
I hope that answers all your questions. If you’d like any addition info or clarification, just let me know. If you decide to purchase PRO and need any help configuring things, feel free to head over to the premium PRO forums and we’ll help you out.
Cheers,
LeahLeah
MemberHi Boris,
Thanks for getting in touch. Both our core plugin, The Events Calendar, and Events Calendar PRO can integrate with WooCommerce for ticketing with our WooTickets plugin. Check out the product page for more info on how that works. If you have any questions, just let me know.

MemberHi Lenny,
Thanks for getting in touch. Our plugin has been tested throughly with large numbers of events and there are many sites that run packed calendars with it. It sounds like Events Calendar PRO might be an excellent option for you.
That being said, keep in mind that if you have recurring events extending many years into the future (say, repeating weekly through 2020) that can slow down your site. We recommend that you set recurring events for 1-2 years and extend that as needed.
Best,
LeahLeah
MemberHi Barbara.
Thanks for your question. At this time, that is not a feature in The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO. If you’d like to vote for us to add it in the future, check out our UserVoice Forum.
Best,
LeahLeah
MemberThanks Anne! We’ll keep an eye out for that email.

MemberHi John,
I’m not sure exactly what you mean- there is no way to sync your Google Calendar with The Events Calendar or display a Google Calendar within the Events Calendar framework. However, Events Calendar PRO does give users an option to import events from Events Calendar PRO to Google Calendar. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi WooMe,
Thanks for getting in touch. Currently WooTickets does not have any built in user role capabilities, so you can’t limit what parts of the WooTickets backend is visible to people who have general dashboard access. There are some different notification settings via WooCommerce, but I don’t believe there is one like you describe that would trigger a congrats at a certain level.
The features you describe might be possible with some customizing, but it may take at least some ninja-like skills to achieve them. The best I can do is give you a list of freelance developers who may be able to help out.

MemberHi Stefani,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Events Calendar PRO. In our current version of Events Calendar PRO, users can find events via the calendar format. You can also make links to different categories, so users could search through just trainings or lectures, for example.
We are about to release The Events Calendar 3.0 and Events Calendar PRO 3.0, in which you can also search by keyword and location. We are also nearly ready to go on a Filters plugin, which will allow searching by venue, organizer, category, tag, day, and more. You can check out the sneak peeks for all these new plugins here.
In short, I think our current plugin is a great start for you, and it’ll be downright perfect once you can add the 3.0 functionality and the Filters plugin. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Best,
