GuestHello from Greece
Let me explain exactly what I want to do, what I need to know before going to buy the pro version of your plugin. Perhaps you might find a lot, but I must mention. So, I have the site saveandwin.gr presenting there all the free giveaways in Greece.
When started, before 14 months, i chose the “all in one event calendar”, seemed to me then a good choice.
Until today, I have posted above 13000 event posts, 22 event categories and more than 1400 event tagsI have made this event posts working in my front page with good results, but I have many problems, especially with the speed, and for this reason I decided to change my calendar, perhaps to come to you.
You must know that, my site is builded in the calendar plugin. This is NOT one of my many services, is my MAIN service.
What i must know:
–>What is your policy for a refund if eventually I can not use your plugin as i need? within how many days should I ask for a refound? 15? 30? 45?
–>can be include on the first page event posts and categories , as normal posts and categories?
–>Can i change the word “event” to the post link to something else? (for SEO reasons)
–>Can the public send me their own events, can I place this code on any page I want?–>Most importantly: how can I transfer my event posts from all in one event calendar plugin to your plugin, with full structure (categories, tags, dates, futured images)
will you help me to trasfer my events?
thank you very much, I expect your reply

MemberHey prokopis,
Thanks for your interest. I’ll do my best to get all your questions answered.

I’ve answered this in your other thread.
–>can be include on the first page event posts and categories , as normal posts and categories?
In the current version (2.0.11) you can put have events act as posts with a little custom code. In the upcoming 3.0 release, you can do this with just a settings change. However, in both situations the categories are still Event Categories rather than Post Categories.
–>Can i change the word “event” to the post link to something else? (for SEO reasons)
Are you referring to the URL slug? In that case, yes, you can change it as needed. However you cannot change the word event in the rest of the plugin, such as were it says “Upcoming Events” on a page.
–>Can the public send me their own events, can I place this code on any page I want?
If you use our Community Events plugin, users can submit their own events for your calendars. I don’t totally understand the second part of your question though. You would be able to edit the events submitted.
–>Most importantly: how can I transfer my event posts from all in one event calendar plugin to your plugin, with full structure (categories, tags, dates, futured images)
We do not have a specific way to do this. You might be able to use a plugin like this CSV Importerto do it. However, we certainly can’t guarantee that all the info would come over properly. It might actually be simplest to have a developer write a custom program that would do it. I recommend that you experiment with moving events from your existing site to our free core plugin, The Events Calendar. If events transfer there, they’ll work with Events Calendar PRO and other premium plugins too.
I hope that answered your questions. If you need any clarification, just let me know.
Cheers,

MemberAs I mentioned in my email, we’ll be announcing the release via our website, newsletter, and social media. Anyone with a valid PRO license will have immediate access, or you can purchase it upon release.
