    Hey Sean,

Unfortunately the forum isn’t great for pasting code. Can you provide it using a service like pastebin or gist? Then we’ll be happy to help out.

    Thanks,
    Leah

Hey guys, if you haven’t noticed yet in your dashboard, Events 3.0 is now available! Enjoy!

Hey mgh01, I just wanted to let you know that we have just released our newest version, Events 3.0, which includes location search. It’s not a dropdown, but users can search by city and state to find events. It’s available in Events Calendar PRO. Cheers!

Hi Lindy, I just wanted to pop in and say that we have now released the new version, so you can use the week view in Events Calendar PRO 3.0. Enjoy!

    Hi Burke,

Thanks for your note. The Events Calendar does not have a cross-multisite search like what you described, although you might be able to add a third-party plugin to get something similar. You can create custom event attributes with Events Calendar PRO, but you cannot filter by those attributes in either the back end or front end of the site. Does that answer your question?

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for your note. I edited your original post so as not to include the whole site address.

We are a bit swamped right now since we’ve just release Events 3.0 and the corresponding plugins, but I want to make sure you get an answer. We have seen your thread and will respond as soon as possible with a more substantial reply.

For now, to get us started on troubleshooting, can you confirm the version of The Events Calendar that your running currently? The latest version of The Events Calendar is 3.0, and the latest version of Community Events is 3.0 as well. Please make sure both plugins are current. If that doesn’t take care of the problem, we’ll go from there.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Hi Cheryl,

Yes, I’d be happy to provide the .zip file of Community Events 1.0.5. Please email me at pro (at) tri.be referencing this thread and I’ll send it right over. Also, since you’re not ready to update Community Events, you’ll want to stay with the older version (2.0.11) of The Events Calendar (and Events Calendar PRO, if you have it). Let me know if you need those files as well.

    Hi DS,

Thanks for getting in touch. You can’t get rid of the country dropdown completely (at least, not without custom coding) but you can have Canada set as the default and the only option, so it is always listed and essentially, the dropdown is moot (for example, if you clicked the dropdown you’d just see this: http://d.pr/i/RP1I). Then the user can fill in the City and Province text fields. The default country is available along with other default content in Events Calendar PRO.

Would that work for you? Or are you interested in maybe doing some customization to have a Province dropdown instead?

    Hey Tony,

Thanks for your note. And thank you for noting that you are using all updated plugins, that’s great.

Part of the issue with the earlier WooTickets build was that the ticket product type needed to be manually changed from shipped to virtual (and downloadable) for the order to come through as complete. In Tickets: WooCommerce 3.0, the ticket products are virtual by default. Is it possible that the ticket that you’re seeing the problem with was created before you updated, and is still marked as a shipped product? You can check that in the WooCommerce –> Orders dash.

If you could check that and let me know, we’ll go from there. If you’re still having this trouble with new tickets, we’ll definitely need to check that out.

    Thank you,
    Leah

    Hi emmajanedavies,

Just to confirm, are you saying that if you have an order marked as complete, then change it to pending, then back to complete, that the tickets don’t get sent out a second time? Or that tickets don’t get sent out at all?

Generally with WooCommerce a pending order means that the customer clicked Place Order but didn’t pay for the tickets (for example, if they got routed to PayPal to pay). So a confirmation email wouldn’t be sent to them unless they either completed the payment, in which case the order would be marked as complete, or if you marked the order as complete manually in the backend. With our plugin, the email confirmation with the ticket is only sent if the order is Complete. If the order is Processing or On Hold, they’ll get an order confirmation email, but no tickets until they’ve paid. Does that answer your question?

    Hi acmt85,

Thanks for your note. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Am I understanding correctly that the issue you’re having is wil Events Calendar PRO 3.0? This forum is for the Tickets: WooCommerce plugin, so if the problem is with PRO I’ll transfer your post over to the appropriate forum so we can get it answered.

Also, please make sure that you are running The Events Calendar 3.0 and Events Calendar PRO 3.0.1. Those are the most current versions. Then please reset your permalinks (under the WordPress Settings –> Permalinks). Those are the first two steps to troubleshooting. If the problem persists, we’ll be happy to help you problem solve further.

    Cheers,
    Leah

    Hey Carla,

Thanks for your note. We’re a litte swamped with support requests, but we want to make sure you get the help you need. I just wanted to let you know that we’ve seen your thread and will respond as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, if you could please confirm that you are running Tickets: WooCommerce 3.0, WooCommerce 2.0.12, The Events Calendar 3.0, and, if you have Events Calendar PRO, version 3.0.1. That will help us get to troubleshooting faster. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Best,
    Leah
