MemberWell, if you follow that FAQ and make links for each category, the calendar that shows when you click the link shows only the events from that category. Even if you switch views, the category should stay the same. Is that what you mean? Or did I misunderstand?

MemberHi cohokc,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Events Calendar PRO. The reason that we have that notice in place is because that many recurring events can slow down a site. To make sure that the calendar loads quickly and fully for your users, we limit recurrence to 200.
We do not currently have plans to implement an End Never option, but if you’d like to encourage us you can vote for the topic via UserVoice. However, as noted there, adding this feature may not be possible, let along optimal, because it requires working with infinite data.
I recommend that you set your events to reoccur at the max (200) and then set a reminder via another service that will help you remember to reset the event recurrence in another 3 years or so 🙂

MemberHi onelittlemoose,
Thanks for reporting this. It is a known bug that we are working to fix. We should have it fixed in an upcoming maintenance release. Until then, I’m afraid you’ll need to go “the long way” and use the URL of the page you want to link to. Thanks for your patience while we get the fix in place.

MemberHi David,
I wanted to give you an update- we looked into this and it appears that on a multisite, you only have the license key tab on the main network sites, and it is not on subsites. So I believe that in that respect, your site is working as it should. You should only need the one license key to keep all the sub sites up to date.
The missing events are still problematic, of course, but I hope that by updating your multisites to PRO 3.0.3 will resolve that. And of course, let me know if it doesn’t.
Cheers,
