MemberHi Matt,
Just to confirm, are you saying that if you’ve filtered by organizer and then you change the page number in the URL you lose the filters? Or am I misunderstanding?
Also, what do you mean by filtering on the backend? Is that with the Filters Bar or something else?
Leah
MemberGreat, thanks!

MemberHi vanmassa,
Can you explain a little bit more about the issue you’re having the the Show All? I’m not exactly sure what you’re referring to and I want to make sure I answer the question you’re actually asking 🙂
On your second point, are you seeing a sort of grey haze over the page that prevents you from saving the edited recurring event? That’s a known issue that we are working hard to fix. Meanwhile, you can get a workaround here. Thanks for your patience while we a get a permanent solution in place.

MemberHi guys,
You might try this option which works for changing the words Organizers and Venues on the front end and might work well for your purposes as well.
You could also check out a plugin like Say What which lets you translate specific strings from the WordPress admin.

MemberHi pkdsleeper,
Sorry about the delayed response. We do our best to get back to everyone with 24 hours of their post.
Am I correct that you are referring to the message you get if you try to have a recurring event recur over 100 times? The reason that we limit the number of instances per event is because if you set an event to recur for more than it will slow down the calendar each time a user loads it. In order to give users the smooth, quick experience they want, we limited the recurring events slightly.
However, even if an event is weekly, recurring 100 times means nearly 2 years. So you would only need to adjust the event (and add recurrences) about every 2 years. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi guys,
I’m glad you’ve found a work around. This is a known bug that happens when you’re running Events Calendar PRO 3.0.5 with WordPress 3.6. We have an alternative workaround solution available here. We are also working hard on a permanent solution. That will be included in an upcoming maintenance release, so make sure to keep an eye out for updates.
Cheers,
LeahLeah
MemberAlas, I still can’t replicate this. I’ll keep an eye on it though. Thanks for the report!

MemberHi Chris,
I’m sorry to hear that the calendar is slowing your site. We are happy to help out, but this forum is for Pre-Sales. Please post your issue in our Events Calendar PRO Forum. If you do not have a license for Events Calendar PRO, you will need to post in our open source forum. We check that forum about once a week as we can, since our core effort is on the PRO forums. If you need full support service you will need to purchase a license.

MemberThanks Adam. So am I correct that the filters show up with your theme, they just don’t function correctly? Also, what’s the name of your theme?
Harris- what theme are you using?
Leah
MemberHi Adam,
The filters use AJAX by default, and I suspect something with your theme (or another plugin) is causing the problem here. Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Twelve theme? Or checking for plugin conflicts?
You also might want to try turning off the automatic AJAX updating (under Events –> Settings –> General). Then you will have a submit button for the filters on the front end- and hopefully that would work.
Let me know what you find out 🙂
Thanks,

MemberThanks Thomas. I’m going to bring this up for consideration.

MemberStrange! I am able to use Community Events with the filters, and I know at least one other beta tester is also using it with Community.
Leah
MemberI did it with PRO. But are you saying that the Community Events plugin is the issue?
