I’m using The Event Calendar Pro to build a Church Calendar wherein they want weekly services, bible studies, etc. listed on the calendar. The Problem is that I can only add up to 100 recurring events. So… how do I complete this requirement? Are there any workarounds to the 100 recurrence limitations?

I’m developing locally, so there is no link I can post.

    Thanks,

    Hi pkdsleeper,

Sorry about the delayed response. We do our best to get back to everyone with 24 hours of their post.

Am I correct that you are referring to the message you get if you try to have a recurring event recur over 100 times? The reason that we limit the number of instances per event is because if you set an event to recur for more than it will slow down the calendar each time a user loads it. In order to give users the smooth, quick experience they want, we limited the recurring events slightly.

However, even if an event is weekly, recurring 100 times means nearly 2 years. So you would only need to adjust the event (and add recurrences) about every 2 years. Does that answer your question?

    Best,
    Leah
