ParticipantHey gordian,
That is not something that is built into our plugin. However, there are other plugins available that can add this functionality. I quickly tested the Post Duplicator plugin and it seemed to do what you are asking.
Will that work for you?

ParticipantHey columinate,
OK. You win today’s prize for best documentation of the issue. We love you for that!
When I tested it out on my own site, the search function was working as expected. Are you running the latest version of the plugins? I appears you are not running the latest version of the plugins and of WordPress? Have you tried deactivating the plugin and reactivating it? Or disabling any other plugins? Just trying to narrow down what might be the source of the problem.

February 17, 2014 at 5:35 pm in reply to: Event widget for other URLs that link to Events Calendar on my site #105704Julie Kuehl
ParticipantHey daveapp,
The quick answer to that is no. The plugin is definitely not designed to do that. And there’s no easy way to connect the events from our plugin to another site. I would think it would be some serious code-fu to make that happen.
But then again, I’ve never heard of anyone trying that so… intriguing coding challenge?
To be clear though, it’s definitely not something it does out of the box or in any quick copy-and-paste manner.

ParticipantHey Bruce,
Have you checked out our free The Events Calendar plugin? http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ Downloading that and installing it might answer a lot of your questions. You are able to have as many other pages and menus as your theme will support, as that has nothing to do with our plugin. The Events Calendar will simply add it’s own page called Events that holds the calendar. To be clear, the calendar does NOT show up on the home page. (That’s possible, but it requires customization.)
Does that answer your questions?

ParticipantHey ropecommander,
Looks to me like it has something to do with the media=”screen” a:link { color: #FFFFFF; } code possibly in your theme and not the plugin files (ropecommander.com/(index:121). Can you check that out and see if that does the trick for you?

ParticipantHey lucaweb,
Can you provide me with a link to the Facebook event or Page that you are trying to import from? I’d like to test it here to see if I can replicate the problem.

ParticipantHey miken110,
Does the information included in this tutorial solve that problem for you? https://theeventscalendar.com/altering-or-removing-headings-on-calendar-views/

ParticipantHey ttem,
The Events Calendar PRO plugin is not yet responsive, which I believe is what you are asking about. That is something, however, that we are actively working on and hope to have ready soon. I’m sorry we don’t have a solution for you at the current time, but if you can hang tight we’ll get it out just as quick as we can!

ParticipantHey holmfirthevents,
The Filter Bar is a separate plugin and outside of the PRO upgrade process. Which according to my info, it looks like you discovered. If you have any questions about it please feel free to ask!

OK. I’ll leave it in your hands to sort through.

ParticipantHey Kevin,
It looks like it’s a JavaScript error that is occurring, but I’m not able to determine the precise cause. Perhaps that is something you could help us isolate by disabling other plugins one by one and reverting back to the Twenty Twelve default theme. Does any of that make it work as expected?

ParticipantHey bobgair,
Nope, not sure nothing will be lost. That’s what we’re testing for. Your data should be safe, but I always recommend a backup before we do anything. So that would be the first step. (And make sure you know how to restore from your backup too.) You might want to make a copy of your site for testing purposes as part of the process too.
From what I see it looks like there is a conflict with perhaps one of the classes in your theme and one of the classes in the calendar. Perhaps your theme developer can help you pinpoint the culprit and help you swap it out.
And *hugs*. I didn’t mean to scare you like that.

ParticipantHey momondays,
Thank you for respecting the limits of our support. But I thought I’d share a couple of bits of information with you that perhaps you could piece together into a solution. Have you seen this tutorial on how to put featured images in the events list widget? https://theeventscalendar.com/adding-post-thumbnails-to-the-events-list-widget/ Not the same, I know. But perhaps close enough to extrapolate from? And of course there’s our Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) as well that could be of use to you.
And hey, perhaps someone will chime in and offer additional suggestions!

ParticipantHi again,
So sorry that I didn’t get back to you on this. This topic seems to have had a technical glitch that made me lose track of it. But yes, you did discover the attendee list that’s available from the admin dashboard. It sounds like you got what you needed. I do apologize again for not getting back to you in a timely manner.
