    Michael,

Sorry to disappoint you, but the WPML issue did not get resolved in this release. It is still on our roadmap though, so it should make into one of the releases down the road.

Thanks for checking back, though. We appreciate your patience and support.

    virtualdavis,

    MY BAD!

I learned something new today and that’s that we actually can tack extra months onto the end of the term. So another option is to buy the FB plugin as well as renew all of your plugins today. That would allow you to make one payment per year, but if you ever dropped out, your Facebook Importer plugin license would expire before the rest of them.

    So another option for you.

    Hi joinfof,

Well, we’re excited for you too! If you’re looking to make changes to the templates you’ll find some helpful into in our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/). I think you’ll find the infer you are looking for there.

If I can point you to any additional information, please let me know!

    Hi Sean,

Oh my! That’s a lot of events!!

Yes, I can see why PRO would be of interest to you. I also think you’d get value out of the Map View where folks could see what’s happening where.

The best answer I have for your questions about hiding recurring events and columns in the week view is that it’s WordPress, anything is possible! However, that isn’t something that the plugin(s) do out of the box. And having that many events on a particular day would work okay on the monthly calendar and the daily view, but I’m thinking it would pretty much blow up a weekly calendar.

I do think that the plugins could do a good job for you, but they would require some customization to manage that quantity of events. And one of the first things I would consider is just eliminating the option of a week view and stick with monthly and daily only.

Modern Tribe does not do customization work on the plugins, but we do have some developers we can recommend. You might want to try WerkPress (http://www.werkpress.com) or Nick Ciske (http://thoughtrefinery.com/). WerkPress’s minimum is $500 and you’ll have to negotiate with Nick directly.

Oh! I almost missed your CSV question. Our 3.2 maintenance release just hit the streets yesterday that now includes this feature. So yaay for that!

If there’s anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

    Hi Nate,

That’s an interesting question! There is nothing like that built into the plugin, outside an RSS feed. And some micro formats. You’d have to build what you need yourself. But it might not be too hard to do, if you’re up for it. We do have some Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) available if you want to look it over.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you.

    Hi virtualdavis,

Thanks for being such a loyal customer! Sadly, we’re not able to offer prorated licenses. My best recommendation for you is to purchase the Facebook Importer now and then purchase your renewals in March 2013. BUT when your Facebook Importer plugin is up for renewal this time next year, let it slide until March 2014 and renew all of them at that time. For those 4-5 months the Facebook plugin won’t be eligible for upgrades or support, but it would pick right up once you jump back in.

Do you think that would work for you?

    Hi Rick,

You should be able to do that right from the product page in the same way that you purchased the first license. I should let you know that if you do ever decide to upgrade to a full Developer license, you won’t be able to combine them. But that shouldn’t cause a problem as you could just drop the other Business license and roll those sites over to the Developer license.

    Hi Mina,

I’ll do my best to answer your question, but I’m not quite sure if I know what you are asking. In general, if you purchase one of our plugins the license is good for one year. You’ll get all the updates for free and with automatic updating from the WordPress dashboard. Plus you get access to the support forums here. Once your license expires the plugin does not stop working, but you will no longer get updates or support forum access. If you decide you want to purchase a license at a later date (at the regular price), you would get access to the updates and forums at that time.

Is that the information you were looking for?

    Hi jaywhack,

Oh bother, sorry you are having troubles updating. Can you tell me what you were doing when you got that message? Did you try to use the autoupdate feature in the Plugin area of the Dashboard?

Once you’ve tried that another option would be to rename the current folder for the plugin and then install the update manually.

I hope that helps. Let me know how that goes.

    Hi elsie,

Sorry you are having trouble with importing from Facebook. A 504 Gateway Timeout error has to do with servers and not the code. It’s either Facebook or your hosting provider that has the issue. I would try contacting your hosting provider and see if they can find out what is going on.

It is the kind of thing that can be intermittent and then appear to suddenly resolve itself as the server admins troubleshoot things in the background.

If we can provide any further help. Please let us know.

    Hey pandology and comhlamh,

We just released 3.2 for both core and PRO. Can you try updating when the prompts hit your site and let me know if that fixes the problem for you?

    Hi jvanderbiest,

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with importing your Facebook events, but unfortunately that is something that Facebook controls. If they’ve determined the site to be adult in nature they block it from their end. There’s nothing we can do to work around that.

I’m not quite sure what to tell you since it seems to be working, at least currently, on some of your sites.

    Hi opcfw,

I’m sorry you’re having trouble finding the information you are looking for. To answer your questions – YES, to all of them. There is a dropdown for both the Venue and the Organizer. When you enter information, it is saved and added to the list, and you can add a new one anytime. Plus you can set a default value for both of those as well.

Do you have any more questions that I can answer?
