Facebook Event Import for Bar (alcohol) calendar

Hello,
I’ve been reading the forums and read somewhere that it’s not possible to import events that has been marked as 18+ by facebook.

However, I’m asking myself the following question:
– Could we not access the facebook API with an access token from a user who has permission to view all content of events?

I’m currently using it on 3 fb (bar, alcohol) pages, 1 of them has already been blocked 🙁

Any ideas on this are appreciated

Hi jvanderbiest,

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with importing your Facebook events, but unfortunately that is something that Facebook controls. If they’ve determined the site to be adult in nature they block it from their end. There’s nothing we can do to work around that.

I’m not quite sure what to tell you since it seems to be working, at least currently, on some of your sites.
