Hello!
I’m very excited to move from Events Manager to The Events Calendar Pro! I do have a quick question regarding creating a new template for an event page.
If I want to create a new template for an event page, is the correct folder structure below correct?
/my-theme/tribe-events/views/pro/day/single-event.php
If this is correct, is there any additional information I need to input anywhere to make sure the file in my new tribe-events folder gets displayed rather than the default template?

Well, we’re excited for you too! If you’re looking to make changes to the templates you’ll find some helpful into in our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/). I think you’ll find the infer you are looking for there.
If I can point you to any additional information, please let me know!

I’m having issues with the calendar month view overlapping into my sidebar area, see issue here: http://zeusmediagroup.com/events/month/

Not 100% sure I’m understanding the question, but there’s the /the-events-calendar/views/default-template.php or possibly the /the-events-calendar/views/month/content.php files that could be what you’re looking for.
With regard to your sidebar and calendar overlapping, I think there was a user with a similar issue over here https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/width-issuelinks-after-update/#post-71392 You might want to check out the CSS code that was suggested and see if it does the trick for you too.
Let me know if any of that helped or you need some further assistance.

For setting up an events folder (for custom event templates) in my theme folder, correct me if I’m wrong…
to override the existing events page, I would create a templage called single-event.php and place it here – /theme-folder/tribe-events/single-event.php

For a custom page for a single event, the single-event.php file should go in the /your-theme-folder/tribe-events/list/single-event.php
The Themer’s Guide has a nice diagram of the basic view files that might help you as you go along. It’s in the Example Customization section (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/#examples).
I hope that helps!
