Facebook Event Picture

For some strange reason the image imported from facebook events is the thumbnail and not the full image, therefore resulting in a stretched, low quality image on display.

Any idea why that would be?

Yeah, you found it. Sorry about that. Facebook must have changed its API recently and it’s caused an issue with the images. It’s a known bug that the developers are working to squash quickly. We expect that this will be addressed in an upcoming maintenance release.

I wonder is it possible to turn off the importation of the facebook images until this is fixed up? It just makes our org look silly or crap!

We just released 3.2 for both core and PRO. Can you try updating when the prompts hit your site and let me know if that fixes the problem for you?

Is it possible to import the full picture not just a part of it?

Same here. Facebook import only take a small picture size…

Can you please verify that you have upgraded to 3.2 and then provide a link so I can see what’s going on? I’m not having troubles here, so I’m not sure what we’re looking at.

I have updated the pictures manually now but the tool only imports a thumnail (a square of the whole picture) but the picture is wider. So basically it cuts off a piece left and right of the picture.

By the way, the site ist in maintenance mode for now. But it does not depend to this site, I’ve tested it with a dummy installation…
