    Hello Ken,

OK. I’ve taken a look and I’m going to pull in one of our more dev-minded folks to assist. Hang on and we’ll see what we can figure out.

    Hello Aaron,

Sounds like you’re looking to customize the plugin, which is something I can’t help you with. But I can point you to our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) which should have the information you need to make that happen.

There is a way to add additional fields to events right in the plugin (http://d.pr/i/5X5D). You may not need to go with ACF to do so.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Hello charmp121,

The brand new EDD Tickets add-on is not set up to handle front-end submissions. It may be something we could look into adding the in the future though. If you’d like to suggest it, I’d encourage you to add it to our Feature Ideas list (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas).

As far as the service charge question goes, that might be possibly by using the EDD Commissions extension. You might want to check it out over at https://easydigitaldownloads.com/extensions/commissions/

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Hello Julian,

Unfortunately for you, our plugin does the same. We are working on a new feature to address this issue, but it’s not ready at the present time. I can’t comment on release timelines for features though. Your best bet, if you’d like to ensure that they’re included in the near future is to add your voice to a suggestion on our User Voice forum: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas We prioritize features based on the response they receive there.

    Hello Mr. Mark,

Let’s see… countries without Facebook. If you can get access to the Facebook events (from Pages/Organizations, not personal Profiles), you should be able to import them to the calendar and unless your site is blocked, they should be viewable there. The events are imported, not synced or linked with Facebook.

The information displayed from an event imported from Facebook looks like the information from any other event. There is a link to Facebook as the event’s “website” as shown in this screenshot http://d.pr/i/UkIr.

As far as customizing goes, if you’re up to it, you can customize it all you’d like. We’ve provided a Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) to help you do so.

And finally, it is possible to use WooCommerce Tickets as a “subscription” mechanism. You can set a number of tickets and then set price to zero. You don’t have to “sell” them that way and you can have a list of subscriptions (attendees) for the events.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Hello Isobel,

You are correct that you need the Facebook add-on to import events from Facebook into your WordPress site. That add on requires the free The Events Calendar plugin, which it sounds like you already have. And to be clear, it imports events from Facebook, it doesn’t synchronize them or push them over to Facebook.

I don’t know of any conflicts with the theme you mentioned, but I’m not familiar with the theme either. You can have a look at our Facebook Events Primer (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/facebook-importer-new-user-primer/) to get a better feel for what it can, and can’t, do.

As for refunds, you can see our policy on our FAQ page (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/faqs/).

If I can help you with anything else, please let me know.

    Hi pko,

If you are referring to the variable pricing question, that isn’t something our plugin isn’t designed to do. Since there was no reply to the other thread, I don’t know if the WooCommerce people were able to help or not. Perhaps it is possible with customization, but that would be customizing the WooCommerce plugin, not The Events Calendar plugin.

So you might actually be looking more for a way to copy an event rather than to tie them together?

    Hi 2cubed,

I apologize that your order didn’t work as expected. Could you send an email to pro (at) tri.be and explain what happened? They’ll be able to help you there. However, I do want to point out that it is a holiday in the US, so their response time is going to be a bit slower than usual.

    Hey Ken,

So help me here. Your eShop plugin was working alongside the Events Calendar PRO prior to the 3.2 release? And nothing else changed other than you updated our plugin(s)? Can you provide me a link to the eShop plugins on wordpress.org/plugins/ so we can take a closer look?

    Hi Emmanuelle,

That’s really weird. Facebook is the one that dishes up the images and we are sometimes at their mercy. That’s why it usually is a square image that comes over. But yours is getting chopped up beyond that. And it kind of looks to be a part of the map that was on the Facebook page, maybe? Perhaps because there really isn’t an image on the page something isn’t working right? Are all the events you are having trouble with ones that don’t have images? That would be an important bit of information.

In the meantime, have you tried deleting the event and trying to re-import it?
