Use Saved Venue/Organizer Lists

For the Community Events add-on (in the demo) the “Use Saved Venue” and “Use Saved Organizer” drop-downs show ALL venues and organizers that are in the database, regardless of the user. Is there an option in the back-end to show each user only the Venues and Organizers that have been submitted by their account? If not, would this be an easy modification?

Hi Sean

You are right that the drop downs do show all the venues/organizers in the database. There is not a built-in option to limit them based on user. I honestly don’t know how easy it would be to modify the plugin to do what you’re looking for, as we don’t do customizations. But something tells me it would take some code moxie to accomplish that. If you’re interested in exploring it further, we have some relevant information in our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) that could help you figure out what it would take to make it happen.
