Had a few questions about the new plugin – Easy Digital Downloads Tickets. Can a user setup and sell tickets from the front-end? Can the user check-in the attendees or does it have to be done from the admin/backend section only? I have the community plugin currently installed now so would that integrate better with EDD tickets? Please advise.
Also, is there a way to charge a small percentage to the users who have posted events and are selling tickets? Please note – not a service charge to the attendeds. More like a service charge on the backend to the community event lister who may be charging for attendees a fee? Can I somehow add a 1-5% fee from the ticket prices on the backend? Please advise.
Thanks,
WP
The brand new EDD Tickets add-on is not set up to handle front-end submissions. It may be something we could look into adding the in the future though. If you’d like to suggest it, I’d encourage you to add it to our Feature Ideas list (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas).
I’m trying to figure out from your site what the difference is between your two ticket products, which are priced exactly the same. As well, can you show a demo on your site, either as a video or functional dev site as to how EDD works in action? I’d love to set this up for my barbershop chorus!
