Mr.Mark
GuestFor a friend of mine I’m managing their website and now they’re using a solution for their events using Custom Post types. Though currently it’s not working ideally for their purpose.
A few questions from my side before I make a decision between your plugin Events Calendar Pro + Facebook Events or Events Espresso.
1. When combining Events Calendar and Facebook Events, are people from countries that don’t have access to Facebook still able to view those events on the website? In other words, is a live connection to Facebook required to view events on the WordPress website?
2. What kind of information will be displayed if I use the Facebook Events syncing to my Events Calendar on the WordPress website?
3. Am I also able to customise the information shown on the Calendar view?I might get some more questions once I get answers to these, but these are just to kick off the questioning round for me.

GuestAdditional question:
4. If I would use WooCommerce tickets with the Events Calendar plugin, could it also function as a subscription form with events to sign up for an event? Without actually having to sell any tickets?December 2, 2013 at 6:34 pm #79841Julie Kuehl
ParticipantHello Mr. Mark,
Let’s see⦠countries without Facebook. If you can get access to the Facebook events (from Pages/Organizations, not personal Profiles), you should be able to import them to the calendar and unless your site is blocked, they should be viewable there. The events are imported, not synced or linked with Facebook.
The information displayed from an event imported from Facebook looks like the information from any other event. There is a link to Facebook as the event’s “website” as shown in this screenshot http://d.pr/i/UkIr.
As far as customizing goes, if you’re up to it, you can customize it all you’d like. We’ve provided a Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) to help you do so.
And finally, it is possible to use WooCommerce Tickets as a “subscription” mechanism. You can set a number of tickets and then set price to zero. You don’t have to “sell” them that way and you can have a list of subscriptions (attendees) for the events.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
