    Hey Brian,

Sure thing, take a look at this snippet. This will allow the basic cost field to show back up for the event. Once a price is added there, it will override the default “Free” wording used for general RSVP.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Cari,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

You can modify the date format within the settings under the Event Settings > Display tab. You’ll find the necessary settings under the “Date Format Settings” section.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Anthon,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

    • You can definitely import your events. You can import the venues first with the associated addresses. Once you have the venues, you’ll see a notice in your dashboard to have the geocode
    • There are options to search by date as well as utilize the event category archives to further filter down by the date. Doing custom fields could be a little bit trickier but definitely possible with a little custom development.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Greg,

Thanks for trying that out! At least we know now that it isn’t directly an environment issue.

So, a couple of things that come to mind that could impact here:

    • Can you verify that the timezone set on your WordPress installation matches the server timezone?
    • Are there any special customizations that were made in the wp-config.php file for this site?
    • Since you’ve followed all the Testing for Conflicts procedures it doesn’t look like it’s a code related issue. However, there could have been some persistent settings in the options table for your site. Looking there, is there anything there that persists even if the associated plugin is deactivated?

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey VB,

Sorry for the confusion there, I meant that iCal Importer wouldn’t be a solution for the recurring events with tickets issues here. Also, with iCal, recurring events get converted to single instances of events rather than all being associated with the same recurrence.

Also, like you’ve mentioned, recurring events may not be a good fit for the situation you’re describing. For these, all the information would need to be identical. If not, you would need to break the events out of the recurrence anyway to add the custom details. To help with creating though, you could use a post duplicator to quickly create a new event draft based on an existing event.

There is ability to remove the “Free” label as well as rename the “RSVP” label within the free plugin but would require some customization. However, there isn’t an ability to quickly integrate with WooCommerce via that plugin.

Overall though, the best advice I can give here would be to give the plugins a try to see if they work for you. We happily offer refunds for any reason within 30 days of purchase. If you try them and they don’t work for you, we’d be happy to refund your purchases.

    Thanks!

    Hey Steve,

Ah! I see what you mean now.

The settings that you’re using there are associated with the widget that you’ve got added to your widget area. Unfortunately, these are global settings that apply to that instance of the widget.

You can get around this by registering more widget areas and conditionally displaying them in different areas of your site. You can try a plugin such as this for this approach. You’ll then be able to add that widget specifically where you would like and have custom settings for each of those instances.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Brian,

Which part of our plugin doesn’t work with EDD? You quote above:

Configure custom attendee registration forms to collect information like t-shirt size or food preferences.”

This is exactly how our plugin works. If you use our Ticket Fieldset options to collect that data, it works. If you’re having a problem with that process, that is something we can help and support you with.

However, the only problem you’ve described so far is that EDD Checkout Fields Manager doesn’t work as you would like it to on our Tickets or, as you yourself have tested and replied above, any other product created in EDD.

If there is a functional problem with our Ticket Fieldset and collecting of information that way on the event page, that is something that I am happy to help with. However, I can’t provide support for another plugin (which personally sounds like it is working as intended) that doesn’t work the way you would like.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mark,

    No problem.

    • Yes, a developer should be able to add those additional field types for your. Those could be added via Gravity Forms or they could take advantage of some of the resources already available to recreate those field types elsewhere.
    • You could maybe integrate WooCommerce with MailChimp to add customers to lists and then provide updates to those lists.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Maciej,

Ah, I get what you’re saying now. As a starting point, does the issue persist if you switch to a default theme? There could be an override version that may not be translated within your theme.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey VB,

The recurring events doesn’t work with tickets in the sense that the tickets wouldn’t be able to be sold and managed on a per instance basis. The tickets and inventory would apply to the entire recurring series. For some, this is actually ideal when managing courses.

Also, the iCal Importer wouldn’t be a solution for the recurring here. However, Google Calendar does have an option for an ical feed which you can find on the calendar setting page. From there, you can take that link and use it to import into your site using the iCal plugin.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any coupon codes at this time. If you’re interested, you can sign up for our newsletter in the form at the bottom of this page to be notified of any coupons or promotions that we do run.

    Thanks!
