CSV import + geolocation

Hello team,

I’m considering to buy the PRO plugin but I have two questions:

– I have a long list of events with title, address and so on. I’d like to know is I can import all my events from xls or csv file to the plugon and then if the plugin will geocode all addresses and show them on the map.

– Is it possible to filter and search by multiple fields like date, categories and other custom fields?

Thanks for reaching out to us!

• You can definitely import your events. You can import the venues first with the associated addresses. Once you have the venues, you’ll see a notice in your dashboard to have the geocode
• There are options to search by date as well as utilize the event category archives to further filter down by the date. Doing custom fields could be a little bit trickier but definitely possible with a little custom development.

Is it possible to first upload the venues and after this upload events with a reference to the venues in order to don’t select them manually? I have more than 10000 events 🙂

I have repeated venues, if I upload all of them will be considered repeated if both title and address are the same?

Sure thing, you can see all of this in action and test out with the free version of our plugin from WordPress.org. All of the CSV import options are there in that version.
