ParticipantHi there
I am using TEC Pro and Event Tickets Pro in combination with EED and Easy Digital Downloads – Checkout Fields Manager. It doenst seem to work together. I need to collect all Attendee Information (so when someone buys 2 tickets i need two forms to be opened.
I read this article that the feature should be available:
https://theeventscalendar.com/release-the-events-calendar-4-1-premium-add-ons/Is this not yet EDD compatible?
When i choose 2 tickets it ignores to order a second form. Thanks for helping out.

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This feature is currently available with EDD. I did a quick test on my local install with the latest versions of the plugin and was able to verify that multiple additional field blocks showed based on the number of tickets I had selected to purchase.
As an initial step here, have you tried following our Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict here with another plugin or an existing theme?
Let me know if this reveals anything here.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi @Josh
Have you tested it just with EDD and not with Easy Digital Downloads – Checkout Fields Manager ? This add some fields to the checkout…
I switched the theme and cleared browser cache and it hasnt helped..
Thanks

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for following up here.
I don’t currently have a copy of the Checkout Fields Manager plugin available. For further testing though, do our forms show correctly on the initial Add to Cart screen if the Checkout Fields Manager is disabled?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Brian,
Unfortunately we have a strict policy against accepting or using login credentials for customer sites.
But, to help get to the source and ensure we’re looking at the right thing here, can you verify whether or not the additional fields for the tickets work if we have Checkout Fields Manager plugin disabled?
Thanks!

ParticipantDear Josh.
Seems obvious but,..
I can confirm that when i disable the plugin checkout fields manager i dont get the additional fields for the tickets.
Now i only see the sirname, prename and emailfield.i hope we can trace the bug down anytime soon. let me know if i can help you further.

ParticipantHey Brian,
I might be misunderstanding the root problem here. If you disable the Checkout Fields Manager plugin from Easy Digital Downloads you aren’t able to see the “Ticket Fieldset” fields you created in our plugin on the event page? These would show on the event page after selecting a number of tickets but prior to adding those to the cart.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh
Seems like yes. I’ll try again.
I have Tickets Pro installed on my website and would like to use it with easy digital downloads.
i need about 6-7 checkout fields which i have added with EDD Checkout Fields MAnager. If you see a way to add them through your plugin please tell me. Here the requirements:
– they have to be on a new site (basket) not on the eventsite, because it would get to long
– if someone logs into wordpress backend they have to be shown n the eventattendeespageIf not please tell me why Event Tickets Pro Functionality (register more attendees at once) does not work together with EDD and EDD CHeckout Fields Manager. The EDD Checkout Fields Manager at the moment just shows once, even if i want to buy >2 tickets

ParticipantHey Brian,
I see where I misunderstood here. We have a way to collect attendee information via our plugin using the “Ticket Fieldset” options. I assumed you were using both those options as well as the Checkout Fields Manager. But the issue here as that on the checkout page, the checkout Fields Manager plugin isn’t displaying the same number of fieldsets as there are tickets?
An alternative would be to use the Ticket Fieldset options available with our plugin and collect the additional information that way. You can read more about that here.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh
Thanks for explaining. One Question is not answered yet:
– is it possible to have the additional attendee meta on the basketpage and not on the single event description page? Thanks

ParticipantHey Brian,
No problem!
I’m looking at the way the form is added currently and it looks like a start to this would be possible by following both our Themer’s Guide to copy the views > eddtickets > tickets.php file from our plugin and into your theme and remove the call for the meta template (currently on line #88). You would then need to modify the EDD checkout page to include that same template call where you would like in the checkout page.
This would be a start to this type of customization though. There would be some additional scripts that you would need to ensure were enqueued on the page as well as potentially additional modifications to ensure the meta saves for the appropriate tickets in the car.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a complete answer there but hopefully it helps to get you pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh
Thanks for your answer. Is this planned to be a upcoming feature?
If yes..
.. can you give me an ETA of this?If not..
.. when will you take a look at the missing compatibility with EDD and EDD Checkout Fields at the moment? Thanks for helping out. May i get some time to try your hints.

ParticipantHey Brian,
We don’t have any particular plans for modifying the location of that form at this time.
To make sure I’m understanding the other issue though:
- You have multiple tickets that you’re adding to the cart with EDD
- You have EDD Checkout Fields Manager added along with fields to collect information on the checkout page
- The problem is that there is only one set of fields on the checkout even though there are multiple tickets?
As a test, is this just happening when using tickets? If you create a traditional downloadable item in EDD with the option of adding multiples to the cart, does the form show multiple field groups for that product?
Thanks!
