ParticipantHey Sean,
Awesome! I’m glad the above helped!
For this other issue, would you mind sending a screenshot of the event start and end date as well as the recurrence settings on the event? Looking at the calendar screenshot you provided, my assumption would be that the event start and end date aren’t set to just the two weekend days of the initial event.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Lee,
Awesome! Glad you were able to get the js error resolved. I assume this fixed the mobile calendar issues you were describing?
A couple of quick things on the style issue to help me in trying to replicate the issue or see what may be happening here.
- Can you send me your System Information in a private reply?
- Can you also send me a screenshot of the file structure within the “tribe-events” folder that you have in your active theme?
- Finally, can you test by switching to a default WordPress theme and adding the same “tribe-events” folder to that theme and see if the issue persists?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Janet,
I’m terribly sorry for the delay here.
I would suggest that you go ahead and delete the problematic event. I don’t believe that cleanup tool that we had for a previous version of the plugin will work for this particular issue.
Could you send me the exact set up of how the event is intended to be created? Getting the event dates, recurrence settings, and exclusion settings for how the event is supposed to be created will help to test and try to see if I can recreate the issue.
Looking at some of the original screenshots, the set up for the events seem quite odd. There are exclusions specifically defined for the event however, the recurrence settings wouldn’t have the event on that day anyway.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey James,
You can remove that section by finding the “orders-link.php” file within the core Event Tickets plugin and also copying it to your theme. You can then delete the last part of that file which is the output of that div and message.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Pieter,
I’m having some inconsistent behavior with that snippet as well now. You may need to pursue a javascript approach that runs after the AJAX action is completed. I’ll reach out to one of our developers to see if they have any feedback or direction on this particular one.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Stefan,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
If I’m understanding the question here, it sounds like you’re creating the Venue (without importing from Facebook) and are wanting future imports from Facebook for that venue to be attached to that Venue rather than importing a duplicate of that venue detail?
The simplest way to get the best result here would be to do a single import of an event from each of the venues that you’d like created. When importing, there is an associated Facebook defined ID that gets stored for the venue that we check against when importing in the future.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Matt,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I took a look at the source here and it appears that we have things set to show 20, however you can try the “tribe_tickets_plus_attendees_list_limit” filter to increase the number that gets pulled.
Let me know if that filters works for you on your template.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Kristen,
Sure thing! To start, here are some links to the functions that will help you get this accomplished.
Here is also a quick snippet that breaks down some of the basics of how this would work. You would need to do some customization to make it work properly for your needs.

ParticipantHey Tamara,
I see what you’re saying here. The current workflow seems to be causing some confusion with users thinking their previously added ticket wasn’t successfully added to the cart. So, when they decide to go add another ticket, they end up adding the new ticket and the original ticket to the cart creating three tickets in the cart including two versions of the original.
I’ll bring up this concern with our team today and follow up here later today.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey James,
Thanks for following up here. I can see a little bit of what you’re describing on your site with the styles disappearing. Unfortunately I’m still unable to replicate the issue locally with the latest version of the plugin. When you notice the issue, are all of your custom styles added in the theme style override lost when switching views or is it just a few of the styles.
The javascript error you describe would definitely be a performance issue with the plugin. It looks like it is also the root issue with the mobile event issue you describe. That error is triggered on resize so if you resize to mobile, the calendar doesn’t work. However, if you then do a refresh on the page (without resizing) the mobile calendar works perfectly.
Finding the root of that js error and dequeueing that script or modifying would help that issue and could potentially get us closer on the style issue as well.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
