Sean
ParticipantHI,
I have created an event ticket and would like to add multiple times with variable stock for each time added. I see from previous tickets that using the woocommerce variable products function is not an option and givin the amount of times and tickets i need to add i wouldn’t consider adding a new ticket for each time.
Are there any other way of achieving this?
Cheers,
Rob

ParticipantHey Sean,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To help get you pointed in the right direction for a possible solution here I had a quick question to clarify. When you say “add multiple times with variable stock for each time” are you referring to the time of the event or are you referring to the start and end sales time for tickets on a single event that has a set date and time?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
So im building a site for a surf instructor who offers a number of lessons per day (10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm…) the instructor can take a number of people per lesson.
What we are trying to achieve is much like a Variable product, say T-Shirts with different sizes (size equals time 10am,… in our case) and a different stock count for each size (like the number of people able to attend each lesson)Hope this makes things more clear for you, it is a separate function to the start and end sales time. We need the user to be able to select a particular time within that period.

ParticipantHey Sean,
Thanks for clarifying here!
I think the best solution may be to create a single, all-day event. From there, you can create new tickets (and associated stock) for each time that is available that day.
There wouldn’t be any direct, official “time” for the ticket but you could include the time within the title or description of the ticket.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you very much this was a massive help 🙂 I now have come across another problem unfortunately. I also need to make a Weekend Surf Camp, which i have managed and set it so it displays as –
An event every 1 week(s) on Friday that begins at 08:00 am and lasts 2 day(s) and 0 hour(s), the last of which will begin on 1/10/2016
The issue i have is that when i view this category in the calender view it also shows up during the weekdays (without a ticket attached) and comes up twice on the days i had selected. http://prntscr.com/bgabem
Am i missing something? I need this not to show on the weekdays obviously as its a weekend camp.
Thanks a mill for the help.

ParticipantHey Sean,
Awesome! I’m glad the above helped!
For this other issue, would you mind sending a screenshot of the event start and end date as well as the recurrence settings on the event? Looking at the calendar screenshot you provided, my assumption would be that the event start and end date aren’t set to just the two weekend days of the initial event.
Thanks!
