ParticipantHello rjweb786support,
I apologize for the confusion. This can sometimes happen if the response is sent as a reply from the email notification about the thread response. If you open up a new draft within your email account and address it to pro[at]tri.be it should go through to the team without a hitch.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh

ParticipantHello Jonathan,
Thanks for reaching out to us! It’s best to open a new support ticket to ensure we’re able to respond to your request as quickly as possible.
This is a good idea and something that can be requested on our UserVoice page. I know the team is currently looking into an option to have a captcha built into the plugin that will be available for a future release.
I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello unhinged,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This is definitely a strange issue to be having. To start off with, one question to make sure we’re looking at the same setup. When setting events as “hidden” are you using this option within the event settings? Or are you taking advantage of the “Private” settings under the post visibility when publishing?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHello jstack,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
You’re right, it looks like that issue was resolved with the ‘3.8.1’ release of the Community Events plugin. You can try updating Community Events without updating the Pro plugin. However, we can’t guarantee that they will be 100% compatible.
If they do happen to be compatible right now, this definitely shouldn’t be a long-term solution. The best option would be to take advantage of our built-in hooks along with the suggestions within our Themer’s Guide to move these customizations to your theme.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello Armando,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for any inconvenience you’re experiencing when using our plugin. Unfortunately, there isn’t too much support that I can offer in regards to this type of functionality.
One thing you could check out would be our Filter Bar plugin which sounds like it offers the exact functionality that you’re looking for and attempting to recreate. For example, when using this plugin on the map view, I’m able to show events of a specific category by using the following url “/events/map/?tribe_eventcategory=6”. This URL is what is generated when selecting the associated category from the Filter Bar.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello efraims,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry you’re having difficulty in using our plugins. Hopefully we can get this sorted out for you as quick as possible.
As an initial step, after updating the slugs (to “eventos” and “evento”) try flushing the rewrite rules for your site by navigating to the settings -> Permalinks section of your WordPress dashboard and re-saving your permalinks.
If that doesn’t work, you can try our Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if the issue is a plugin or theme conflict that isn’t being used on the site you were able to get things working on.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
