    Hey Gavin,

I don’t think there would be a specific solution for this out of the box but it is definitely something that could be accomplished with some custom development. Since geolocation data is stored for each event if it has a designated venue, a custom loop and map could be used on a page to show specific dates and the current location of the events for that day.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Liz,

    I apologize for the delay.

I did some research and have a few more questions to help us determine if this is associated with the update to the plugin. Previously, I was focused on the theme due to the events displaying properly with a default theme but hopefully these will help us get to the bottom of the issue.

    1. Does the issue persist if you deactivate the PRO version of our plugin and leave the core events calendar plugin active?
    2. With PRO activated, create some new events. Does the issue persist with new events that were created with the latest version of the plugin activated?

Hopefully this will help to narrow things down. At the end of the day though, I am a bit limited in the support I’m able to give with what may end up being a theme conflict. However, I’d still like to help figure out the root of what is happening on your site.

    Thanks!

    Hey Marc,

Thanks for following up and I apologize for the delay.

I’ve tested again on my local install and was still unable to replicate the issue that I see happening on your install. Out of curiosity, when testing does the issue persist if you scale back the WooCommerce plugins to just core WooCommerce? I’m not sure how the “Name your price” plugin functions but I did have an issue recently with Easy Digital Downloads tickets where a custom filter was being applied to the price and it resulted in the same issue that you’re currently experiencing.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jacques,

I’m glad it worked for you! However, I’m not sure I follow your comment “However, this shouldn’t happen”.

Would you mind elaborating on that to see if there is something that we need to address in our plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hey Matt,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately this isn’t something that is available at the moment. For now, you can purchase multiple developer licenses for the sites that you need. If you do have a large number of sites that you need to license,we can get you in touch with someone on our team to discuss other licensing options that would best fit your situation.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Ryan,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

We currently do have some markup support for the calendar. Actually, a few updates will be added to our next release which will address a few validation errors that the calendars do have with the Rich Snippets. However, based on some internal discussions, I believe we may be moving away from Rich Snippets in support of Schema for future development.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Gavin,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately at this time we do not have an option for displaying the map view as a widget. However, this is a good idea worth considering. If you would like, you can add this to our UserVoice page.

Let me know if you have any further questions while considering whether or not to purchase our plugin.

    Thanks!

    Hey Stephen,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I took a look at your site and noticed that the views don’t update when using the bar at the top of the events pages. Looking closer, this doesn’t appear to be due to a performance issue with the queries taking too long, it appears to be a javascript error where the page isn’t picking up the requested information from that bar.

To see this better, go to https://stepitupdance.co.uk/booking/ and select a random date sometime in the future. You’ll see what you’re describing here where it never leaves the loading screen. Now, click on the view section at the top and switch to the “map” view. You’ll see the page now loads with the selected date passed to the URL in a query string.

With this, it sounds like the issue is due to a customization of the views that has been made to get the custom layouts that you do have. Unfortunately, the only way to test is to follow the Testing for Conflicts procedures and switching to a default WordPress theme and deactivating other plugins. The best option would be to setup a new install on the same server and test or set up a staging environment for this current site to be able to test things like this for our plugins as well as any other changes/updates you want to make to a site in the future.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Liz,

I apologize for the delayed response. That is definitely strange but also gives me an idea about the issue! Looking back at your site I see a few Javascript errors on the page that could very well be causing the Events Calendar not to function properly. You can see them here https://cloudup.com/cPNcVPLiIRv.

Try updating those scripts until there are no more errors on the page and see if that resolves the issue for you.

    Thanks!

    Hey Chris,

I’ve tested this again and still unable to replicate. When doing the plugin/theme process did you deactivate all other plugins (clearing cache prior to deactivating any cache plugins) and activating a default WordPress theme such as TwentyFourteen prior to testing again? If so, you’re still having the issue persist with a completely vanilla WordPress install?

If this is the case, the only other variable I could think of would be the hosting environment. Where is the site currently hosted?

    Thanks!

    Hey Marc,

Does this new issue persist when you follow the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure the issue isn’t a conflict with an existing plugin or theme?

    Thanks!

    Hey Jason,

I’m not sure I’m following exactly but yes, when you add a ticket to the cart, the user can then go to other events and add more tickets to the cart and order multiple tickets within the same order.

Let me know if this answers your question.

    Thanks!
