ParticipantMy server is experiencing a consistently high load average and this is being caused by the following SQL statements which are continually being processed. I just upgraded to the latest version of the calendar pro within the last few days:
| 1156 | planet_planet | localhost | planet_planet | Query | 23 | Removing duplicates | SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS DISTINCT wp_posts.*, IF (wp_posts.post_type = ‘tribe_events’, wp_postmeta |
| 1158 | planet_planet | localhost | planet_planet | Query | 16 | Removing duplicates | SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS DISTINCT wp_posts.*, IF (wp_posts.post_type = ‘tribe_events’, wp_postmeta |
| 1160 | planet_planet | localhost | planet_planet | Query | 13 | Removing duplicates | SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS DISTINCT wp_posts.*, IF (wp_posts.post_type = ‘tribe_events’, wp_postmeta |
| 1164 | planet_planet | localhost | planet_planet | Query | 1 | Removing duplicates | SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS DISTINCT wp_posts.*, IF (wp_posts.post_type = ‘tribe_events’, wp_postmeta |
From my host: Would it be possible for your web developer to please review the processing concerning “tribe_events”.
I disabled all the Tribe plug ins and the problem went away.

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for the inconvenience of the issues you’re experiencing with our plugins. Hopefully we can get these issues sorted out quickly.
A couple of quick questions:
- Did you have multiple Tribe plugins active? If so, could you reactivate them and disable one by one to see if there was a specific add-on that triggered the issue?
- Out of curiosity, how many events do you have added to the site? Do you have any recurring events that are being used.
- Where is your site currently hosted?
Hopefully this will help us to narrow down exactly what is happening on your site.
Thanks!

ParticipantIt would appear the Events Pro plug in is at the root of the problem. I can’t say 100% for sure but when I disabled it the site began loading again. I just moved to a new host, WP Engine, and still the same problem.
I would attach a copy of the error log it I could. Is there a private email I can send it to?

ParticipantHey!
Thanks for following up with us.
A couple of things that you could try that will help us to narrow down this issue.
- Now that you’ve moved to WP Engine, have you tried the different enabling/disabling the different cache settings available within their hosting (https://cloudup.com/c3y5Ofb1OmQ)?
- Have you tried testing with a default WordPress theme activated to see if the issue persists when using a theme like TwentyFourteen?
- Would it be possible to set up a new development site with all default plugins, settings and themes and see if the issue persists with a completely vanilla WordPress install?
Let me know if these steps reveal anything new.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi there,
I’m having the same issue on our website. I did a few things that I think may have resolved it, but I’m not holding my breath. As it has appeared to have been fixed before, only to come back.
What I didI deactivated the plugin, reactivated it, and then re-implemented the “Event List” widgets. I also deactivated object caching.
There are no reoccurring events in our calendar. Or if there were, they lost that setting and there are NO LONGER reoccurring events in our calendar.
So far, I haven’t seen the problem reoccur yet.
