ParticipantHey MajorTom,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
By default, we do have a “Past Events” listing which you can technically go back into indefinitely. You could eventually run into issues, however this would probably happen sooner depending on the type of queries you’re running on the information rather than just the amount of information causing the problem.
We do have a cleanup of recurring events which I believe is set to remove recurrences of an event that are older than 2 years. However you could technically also set those to stay in your database forever as well.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh

ParticipantHey Brian,
Awesome! I’m glad you were able to get things back up and running again. Be sure to remove the WP_DEBUG settings now from your live site.
This is definitely a strange addition and something that seems to be displaying outside of template. A couple of places to look:
- Check to see if there is a “tribe-events” folder within your theme and whether there is a “single-event.php” file within that folder. You can then check to see if there is any extra entry title there.
- Do a search of your files (possibly functions.php, index.php, page.php, etc.) for any conditional logic that includes the addition of “no-entry-title” class to an entry-title.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Tommy,
I took a look at your site and it appears to have a customized view of our calendar which is controlled by your theme. Within your theme’s stylesheet is a declaration for “.events-list.tribe-bar-is-disabled #tribe-events-content-wrapper” which has a max-width of “700px” set on it. You can increase this to whatever width you would like for your calendar.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Bryan,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We do have a CSV import option for events as well as an iCal Importer that allows you to have events automatically imported into your website from an “.ics” feed.

October 14, 2015 at 5:56 pm in reply to: Event List view displaying publication date instead of event date? #1014731Josh
ParticipantHey Mark,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I just did some tests on this with a basic event on my local install. The event that gets displayed into the default tag template is showing the event date for me rather than the publication date. Additionally, for the list view the publication date should not display at all by default.
As an initial test, have you tried following the Test for Conflicts procedures to ensure that there isn’t a conflict with the existing theme or plugins?
Thanks!
Josh

We have a nice article here https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/move-edd-tickets-form-above-event-content/ that should help you out with this.

ParticipantHey Anna,
Just wanted to follow up with you on this one. I’ve got the initial import and the site is still loading as expected. I’ll need to do some additional review, particularly in the settings tables since there are likely to be many things in there that aren’t currently impacting my local configuration.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Niko,
No problema! I’ll go ahead and close this one out as well.

ParticipantHey Antonio,
Would you mind sending a screenshot of the warning on the page? Additionally, when clicking the link, does it successfully take you to the Event Settings where you’re able to click a button to generate the geolocation data for the venues?
Thanks!
Josh
