ParticipantHey communityanswers,
Thanks for following up here. I just tested this on my local install and it properly updated the description where it naturally gets output as the hover over the “See All” at the top of the recurring event.
Looking at your site it does appear that this view has been customized. If you don’t mind, would you mind posting the code that is used to output that description on your page? You should be able to find this within a “tribe-events” folder within your theme.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Nokolay,
No problem. Happy to help.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Matthew,
One last thing before we fall completely back on the hosting issue. Would you be willing to revert your plugins back to version 3.11? You can do that by downloading version 3.11 from your account on this site of PRO and version 3.11 of the core plugin from the WordPress.org repository here. Once doing that, do you experience the same sluggish behavior from the site?
Thanks!

The ticket table automatically displays on the single event page that you’ve linked to. However, since the tickets are WooCommerce products by default you can use the product shortcode to add the tickets anywhere that you would like on the site.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Courtney,
Thanks for following up with us.
To help expectations, reviewing the original issue and previous thread, I don’t believe this is a bug in the way the search currently works with the date. I can understand how it might be a bit misleading and we could use some terminology such as “Events from:” for the date.
For the gist, try this:
https://gist.github.com/BeardedGinger/1fa1e91361b9f59415a1
it looks like the original suggestion had the start date written twice rather than setting the start date and end date.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
So, when adding the full address (including the country) to the venue details, the Google map is still showing the city in the US? Would you mind linking me to an event where this is occurring? There might be some customizations we can do to this meta section but want to see how Google is interpreting the data first.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Tracey,
Thanks for following up with us.
Looking at your theme, there appear to be some filters on the content of which there are two “date” filters that show different results depending on which is clicked. On the surface, it looks like this is potentially what is causing the issue on that page with the old events showing up. There could be a filter preset on the content to pull oldest first.
As for the far into the future events displaying with the default theme activated, would you mind sending me a screenshot of this with a mix of events and posts included in that breakdown so I can get a better vision of whats happening there?
Thanks!
Josh

I just tested out the snippet and ended up with the following https://cloudup.com/cTG8TQNOsYS. After making that change I was able to still get the input to go back to “0” on the ticket.
Does the issue persist if you follow the Testing for Conflicts procedures?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey John,
This is definitely and understandable concern. The conflict there was a Javascript conflict with Google Maps and geolocation data. We released a quick maintenance release to address that issue which you can read more about here https://theeventscalendar.com/release-events-calendar-pro-3-12-5/.
With any software, there is always potential for bugs particularly when we’re integrating with other APIs. In these types of cases we do our best to get a quick turnaround solution up and running as quickly as possible.
Let me know if this helps.

ParticipantHey Folkert,
Thanks for following up here.
You can use something like http://yourdomain.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=month to access the feed from a site that can be used as the iCal URL for an import using our iCal Importer plugin.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Zeeshan,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
That’s a pretty wide open question. The creation of events is the same process as creating any other post in WordPress. The addition is just custom meta for the event details. If you’re able to do posts via you’re current system you should be able to do events.
The best thing to do though would be to try out the free plugin and see if it works with the API you’re using.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Sebastien,
I figured out my original issue which was related to a customization I tested for another ticket. Going back to the original issue, is this what you’re noticing on the import screen that is causing the problem here https://cloudup.com/cXe6sKDDvmM?
Are you able to check and import the events that do have a checkbox next to the event title?
Thanks!
Josh

ParticipantHey Ollie,
I’ll try to answer all of your questions fully.
- You can select the event from a calendar however there isn’t a default way to have a single show and then a dropdown of the associated dates for selection. An alternative to this built into the PRO plugin would be the recurring events feature and then viewing the archive of all of the events within that recurrence.
- You could create 2 separate events for the show and different times and set the price per show.
- You can have multiple tickets available for an event and have different prices for those tickets.
- You can add coupon codes for use during checkout with WooCommerce
- Same with the coupon codes, this would be handled via WooCommerce and not our plugin. However there may need to be another plugin active for this type of feature.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
