GuestHi,
I am considering purchasing the Woo Tickets plugin to use on a website for an amateur theatre group in the UK. They already use Woo commerce but want more options and functionality, but they also need to be able to quickly generate tickets on the door…
Is there a way where they can be logged in and then issue a ticket manually at the door (rather than filling in the booking form etc) but still through the plugin so the customer is on the attendees list?
I hope this question makes sense?
Thanks
Ollie

ParticipantHey Ollie,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I believe the quickest way to accomplish what you’re describing would be to have your client at the door generate new orders manually within the WordPress dashboard in the WooCommerce orders section. It’s a little bit quicker than having to do it all on the front-end. To see if it works for your use case, the best advice I can give would be to go ahead and give it a try. If you don’t like the process we would be happy to refund your purchase within 3o days.
Thanks!

GuestThanks for your reply.
I have another couple of questions before I buy….
Does the system allow for the user to:
1. Select the show date, from a list of options or calendar?
2. Allow for show times to be different costs, afternoon £9 / Evening £11 etc or at least an option where they can click to choose a £9 ticket or an £11 ticket
3. Allow for for different types of tickets (Adult/Child/Over65/Unemployed)
4. Additional coupon codes can be added
5. Auto-discount if the customer is buying more than four tickets.I’ve been struggling to find a ticketing system that matches what my client requires but I think the options they need are pretty standard for a theatre company.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Ollie,
I’ll try to answer all of your questions fully.
- You can select the event from a calendar however there isn’t a default way to have a single show and then a dropdown of the associated dates for selection. An alternative to this built into the PRO plugin would be the recurring events feature and then viewing the archive of all of the events within that recurrence.
- You could create 2 separate events for the show and different times and set the price per show.
- You can have multiple tickets available for an event and have different prices for those tickets.
- You can add coupon codes for use during checkout with WooCommerce
- Same with the coupon codes, this would be handled via WooCommerce and not our plugin. However there may need to be another plugin active for this type of feature.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

GuestThanks for your reply Josh.
So on the question of dates. The calendar could show a week highlighted? and then the customer would click on the date? Like in the standard Woo Commerce plugin?
Also. my client is a registered charity, do you offer discounts on this basis. I know that tickera & ticket tailor do.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Ollie,
I’m not sure I’m following this note “and then the customer would click on the date? Like in the standard Woo Commerce plugin?” are you referring to something like the WooCommerce Bookings plugin? http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/
Also, we do offer free plugins for Non-Profits. You can checkout the FAQs on this here https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-non-profit-organizations/
Thanks!
