ParticipantHello,
I purchased the Tickets plug in and have been experimenting with it. One thing I’ve found confusing is it seems I’m unable to control the link to purchase the ticket. I would love to have several ‘buy now’ buttons on a few pages, but it seems this is only available on the ‘ticket’ page.
Please clarify if I’m using this wrong…

Thanks for your help!!

ParticipantHey Hugh,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
The ticket table automatically displays on the single event page that you’ve linked to. However, since the tickets are WooCommerce products by default you can use the product shortcode to add the tickets anywhere that you would like on the site.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
Maybe I’m missing something, but the shortcode for the product page simply takes me back to the product page when I just want to put a very quick ‘buy now’ there.
The product page has the ticket placed below the bottom of the screen Thus, to me, more difficult for them to figure out how to buy.
Is there a particular capacity to simply embed a ticket shortcode or a nice easy ‘buy now’ linking to the actual product without the entire product page appearing?
Thanks!
Hugh

ParticipantHey Hugh,
It sounds like the first part of the problem is the new location of the tickets with the Avada theme. You can move the tickets on that page by following this tutorial for moving that ticket form.
You could also create your own button for adding a product to the cart using a specific URL. You can read a bit more about how to setup those URLs here.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
Thanks for your assistance. The second is EXACTLY what I want to do. I want them to click a link and then go straight to checkout.
The problem is the tutorial does not work. I have tried a few dozen variations…
below are two variations I’ve attempted but at best I land on a page which says, “Your shopping cart is empty”. Please let me know what I’ve gotten wrong…
http://www.nlpworks.com/checkout/?add-to-cart ID=”1768″
http://www.nlpworks.com/checkout/?add_to_cart ID=”1768″Thanks!

ParticipantHey Hugh,
Try formatting the URLs like:
http://www.nlpworks.com/checkout/?add_to_cart=1768
and see if that does what you’re looking for.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks Josh – still same outcome:
Your cart is currently empty…
Is there something I’m missing?!?
Thanks

ParticipantHey Hugh,
Did you try clicking that link directly? Yesterday when I tried I was taken to the checkout screen but when reviewing the cart there was a $3,000 item in the cart. Looking today it appears that WooCommerce may be deactivated on your site? Going to the checkout just shows the WooCommerce shortcode for displaying the page.
Thanks!
