ParticipantHey Jeremy,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Can you give a bit more information about the issue you’re experiencing? I just visited the link in your original message and clicked the “Order Now” button on the ticket box and was successfully taken to Eventbrite to purchase the tickets https://cloudup.com/cTDgW-aTzkN.
Can you describe what happens for you when you click that button?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Cristina,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
You can definitely modify the file limits for uploads. Most tutorials will show how t increase the upload limit, however you can follow the same steps to decrease the limit as well. Here is a good tutorial that should help https://whatswp.com/how-to-increase-wordpress-upload-limit/.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Zach,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Although you could, with a little bit of customization, get pretty close to the needs you’re describing here it really isn’t the use case for which our Tickets plugin was designed. If you’re looking for a registration/booking type solution I would suggest you take a look at http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/.

ParticipantHey Adage,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
By default, you can view the past events within our plugin by utilizing a URL such as “/events/list/?tribe_event_display=past”
If you’re using a shortcode created for the Avada theme to display events and you would the past events to display there, it’s best to reach out to the theme developers for support in customizing their code.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Keith,

Does the issue persist if you try following our Testing for Conflicts procedures? Looking at the screenshot it appears that there is an issue there that it seems was fixed in a previously release. However it looks like you’re running the latest versions of the plugins. It could be that there is some old code being used in your current theme. Does the issue persist if you switch to a default theme such as the Twenty Fifteen theme?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Joey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It looks like they are showing up on your site, however due to some style issues, potentially with your active theme that are preventing them from showing up in the proper place. If you switch to a default theme you should see that they do appear and are working normally.
As a first step though with your theme, you can try adding “position:relative” to the “.woocommerce .buttons-added” class within your stylesheet. By doing this, you should see the buttons show up around the quantity box. You may have to do some additional styling though to get them to display the way you would like.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Ruud,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Would you mind giving us a little more detail about the issue you’re experiencing here? Is there a specific loop or page that you’re experiencing this with?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Lara,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for the inconvenience of this issue. I took a look at your site, however I’m not seeing any of the past events on the site and I’m guessing you probably deleted them all due to the issue you were experiencing. So I can do some tests, would you mind sending me the list of pages that you have added to your Facebook Import settings so I can test on the same pages?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Glenn,
I’m terribly sorry to hear about your previous experience. Would you mind linking to that previous thread? I’ll take a look at the detail there and see how far things got there so we don’t have too much overlap in the diagnostic steps there.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey,
Thanks for following up and providing the code above. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear that the code we need is in this section. Out of curiosity, is there a modules > meta > details.php file in the theme is well? If so the necessary information is probably in there.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Allyson,
Thanks for following up.
To add the text to just the event submission and edit screens, you can add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file.

ParticipantHey Sebastien,
Sorry for the confusion here, you can find more about WP_Debug and how to set it up here https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Courtney,
For the styling you can target the placeholder text for modifying the text in the inputs below those headings.
I’m not seeing anything specifically about this within our current issues. The closest thing is the highlighting of the selected date when showing on the month view grid. I have however added a note for our team to discuss this issue at our weekly meeting next week.
I apologize for any confusion there may have been around this feature.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Hugh,
Did you try clicking that link directly? Yesterday when I tried I was taken to the checkout screen but when reviewing the cart there was a $3,000 item in the cart. Looking today it appears that WooCommerce may be deactivated on your site? Going to the checkout just shows the WooCommerce shortcode for displaying the page.
Thanks!
November 6, 2015 at 6:31 am in reply to: Only display the first of a series of events on the homepage/blog #1022519Josh
ParticipantHey Tracey,
Thanks for following up here.
Looking at your theme, the loop on the homepage appears to be all of your events/posts queued up irregardless of the date. On initial page load I’m seeing items from 2014, 2012, and 2015. As far as the events included, as you are noting, they should be displaying (and traditionally in chronological order) based on the event date rather than the date published. This should be the same for RSS feeds, however, I’m not sure what you’re using to trigger the emails but it’s possible that you could select to have them sent when you publish them.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
