ParticipantHey Herman,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This definitely sounds like a frustrating issue to be having. I did some initial tests and wasn’t able to replicate on my local install. As an initial step have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict with another plugin on the site?
Let me know if this reveals anything.
Thanks!
Josh

You can customize the ticket email by following our Themer’s Guide and copying the “views/tickets/email.php” from the core Events Calendar plugin into your theme and customizing the information there.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Andrea,
Thanks for reaching out to us and providing the detailed screenshots!
I tested on my local install, however all the dates for the recurrence showed up as expected within the widget event list. As an initial step, have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict at play here?
Thanks!
Josh

ParticipantHey Mat,
It couldn’t hurt to give a different hosting environment a try. Particularly one that does boast performance for WordPress sites like WP Engine was mentioned earlier.
Also, take a look at http://www.coolrunning.com/eventcal/events/list. This site does have thousands of active events and still does seem to perform with relatively good speed. You will have some performance issues when dealing with such massive amounts of data, however you still shouldn’t expect to see 10 second load times.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Joey,
No problem. You should likely set up a child theme for customizations and add customizations to your “style.css” file there. If you’re not interested in that approach, you should be able to add customizations to your main theme within the “style.css” file there.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Keith,
I’ve taken a look at your site and can definitely see the issue you’re describing with a default theme. I’m still unable to replicate though with the latest versions on my local install. Have you tried deactivating the WPML plugins that you have active on the site? We are supporting those now, however there could be some potential conflicts. This will help us to narrow in and see if this is a conflict with WPML at play here.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Adage,
I apologize for the delayed response here.
To get the customization that you’re looking for, you can follow our Themer’s Guide and start by adding the appropriate widget file that you would like to customize into your theme. You can then add the venue for the event by utilizing the “tribe_get_venue_link()” function.
Let me know if this helps to get you pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey,
No problem. If you would like you can send a zip file of your theme to support[at]theeventscalendar.com and I can take a quick look to see where the conflicting code is at.
Also, our threads here will close automatically after 2 weeks of inactivity so it should be fine to have this one wait until you return on the 19th.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Lauren,
I’m terribly sorry for the delayed response here.
I did some further testing and this appears to be a an issue with multiple recurring events on the set date. I’ve created a new bug report for this issue and you’ll be notified here as we make progress on addressing this one.
I apologize for any inconvenience this bug has caused. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Tracy,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Try changing the folder structure within your theme from being “/tribe-events/wootickets/email.php” to “/tribe-events/tickets/email.php” and see if that allows your customizations to take effect on the email.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Denis,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately we’re unable to provide support here in our pre-sales forum. However, in order to help set expectations on a customization such as this, within our premium forums we probably wouldn’t be able to give you a complete code example for how to accomplish this but we would be able to give you enough of an example that you could take it as a starting point to customize for your own categories.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Jacob,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
The original issue you’re describing sounds like it is most likely a javascript error on the site. Do you have a link to your site where you’re experiencing this issue so we can test a little further?
Also, I’m not sure I’m following the last part of the message, “respectively target the calendar page with the date (the week the date is included) being pre-selected”. Are you wanting to link to a specific date on the full calendar? If so, you can link to the calendar with an additional “/2015-11-11/” for the date that you would like displayed.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
