    Hey Mat,

    Thanks for following up!

The location within the theme looks correct and the code looks like it was added correctly as well. However, the it looks like I do need to update the snippet I provided to accomplish specifically what you’re looking for (showing the first day of a multiday event but not the other days).

But, to test if the code is actually getting implemented onto your site, if you create an all-day event with a start date of today and an end date of this Friday does that appear on your calendar? It shouldn’t show at all on the month view based on the snippet provided. Is that what you’re seeing?

    Thanks!

    Hey Shiloh,

    Thanks for following up here!

I took a look at the second site you linked to here (http://kitsapcpr.org) and the calendar appears to be navigating between months as expected. To verify, are there any events published after January 28th?

If not, you can click to the previous events within the list and the previous month in the calendar and the next events (and month) show up as expected and load as expected on that site.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Davis,

Thanks for following up here. I’ll do some further testing here to see what may be preventing those attributes from impacting what gets pulled via the shortcode.

    Thanks!

    Hey Yolanda,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

This definitely sounds like a strange issue to be having here. As a clarification, when you mention that you weren’t notified about the first two attendees until the night before, in what way were you notified?

An initial thought sounds like the order(s) of the first two tickets may have not been completed orders within WooCommerce up until the night before. Could this have been a possibility in the processing of the tickets?

    Thanks!

    Hey Joshua,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

This appears to be a known bug and we’ve already got an internal ticket created for this one. I’ve added this thread to that ticket and you’ll be notified here as we make progress on this one.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about the process.

    Thanks!

    Hey Laura,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

To clarify, how are you creating the events for the different timezones? Are you creating individual events for each local timezone and setting them to 11:00am – 1:00pm based on the local timezone or is there a single event set to 11:00am – 1:00pm?

As for the import into Google, I believe the expectation here is that the event will import based on the timezone set for the event. So, if the event created as 11:00am – 1:00pm pacific it would import into a person on the east coast’s calendar as 2:00pm – 4:00pm.

    Let me know this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Geoff,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

That definitely sounds strange. A couple of steps to take to help in determining what might be happening here:

    1. Try re-downloading fresh versions of all the calendar plugins and uploading them to your site. It might be that the download (or upload of a premium plugin) may have been incomplete causing the limited menu items.
    2. If that doesn’t help, try deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme and see if that allows the other menu items to display. If so, reactivate the other plugins one by one to see where the potential conflict is.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Travis,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The CSS added to the Appearance > Edit CSS section should persist since it is most likely being saved to the database (particularly if this is the feature added via Jetpack plugin).

For CSS customizations within your theme, you could add a “tribe-events.css” file to a “tribe-events” folder within your theme and add the css there. It will load after the plugin styles and should take precedence over the plugin styles.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Kate,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

You can follow our Themer’s Guide for adding customized versions of the calendar views to your theme. For the “list-widget.php” file you would at it to your theme at the following location:

    tribe-events >pro > widgets > list-widget.php

    Hey Tom,

    Thanks for following up.

Definitely strange that this is the only event that appears to be having this import issue. I’ve created an internal ticket for this issue to have a developer take a look at the event and see if there is a possible pattern or Facebook setting for events that we haven’t accounted for that could possibly be causing this issue.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

I reached out to another team member for feedback here and it sounds like he may be onto something:

    one thought is he notes:

I checked my local computer timezone and outlok timezone are both set for UTC -6

the thing is, UTC-6 is UTC-6, whereas a regional flavour like America/Chicago can conceivably by either UTC-6 or UTC-5 (or whatever way round it is) depending on DST

perhaps something along those lines is causing the discrepancy?

With this, does the issue persist if you switch the timezone on your WordPress installation to the UTC format rather than the “Chicago” setting?

    Thanks!

    Hey Stacey,

Thanks for following up and for providing the process video! Definitely helps to see that!

One thing to check would be to follow the import process from your first video with the developer tools open in chrome. First, you can check to see if there are any javascript errors on the page that may be impacting here. Also, after clicking the Import Selected button and the screen reloading, check the “console” tab within developer tools to see if there is anything logged there that might give us more information.

Also, you could try turning on WP_DEBUG and see if there are any warnings or errors that show up directly on the page.

Let me know if this reveals anything new?

    Thanks!

    Hey Shannon,

I’m glad you were able to find a solution that works for this one.

I do apologize for the inconveniences you have faced when working with the calendar. Definitely some strange issues here that sound like there could potentially be some plugin or theme conflicts at play. The ability to print I also agree would be a great feature and I’m glad you voted for it!

I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mary Anne,

Are you able to set up a staging environment to do some tests? The steps for helping to diagnose what may be going on here would include disabling all plugins and switching to a default theme and seeing if the issue persists. If the issue is resolved, you would be able to reactivate each plugin one by one to see which one may have created a conflict.

If the issue persists, we could then take a look at the events and see what may be causing the issue.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Yusuf,

    Thanks for following up!

There may have been some confusion with the WooThemes Support as to the original issue here. Our plugins have no interaction to the actual checkout or payment process or the connection to any of the WooCommerce gateways such as PayPal.

As a test, are you able to sell other products (other than tickets) and have those completed sales show up in your PayPal account? You can use test products and set to sandbox within your WooCommerce gateway settings for this testing.

    Thanks!
