    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately this isn’t currently available since Recurring Events expect all the instances to be identical. However, you can ease the creation process by creating the recurring event and then going through each one and “Breaking” them from the series and adding the custom details to each event.

We do have the feature noted on our UserVoice page where you can vote for this particular feature.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jason,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

You can update the excerpt length by using the “excerpt_length” filter. Something like:

    add_filter( 'excerpt_length', 70 );

should help to increase the length there. Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Rafael,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I just did a quick test on this on my local install, however I was unable to replicate the issue you’re describing here. I was able to submit the event and when reviewing on the front-end as well as within the dashboard the event showed the selected category.

As an initial, step can you try going through the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict here with an existing plugin or theme?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

You can submit updated translations for the plugins at http://translations.theeventscalendar.com. You can find out more information about the process of submitting translations here.

    Hey Marina,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Would you mind sending a screenshot of the application setup settings within Eventbrite as well as the URL that was used for the oAuth?

    Thanks!

    Hey Andrea,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

This definitely sounds like a strange issue here. You can forward the email to support[at]theeventscalendar.com.

We did update some input control for the image upload with the latest update. My first assumption here would be that the update impacted something and is triggering an email alert for a security plugin. We can verify this when reviewing the forwarded email.

    Thanks!

    Hey Rob,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a simple way to exclude a category from the event list widget settings. You can use “categories” as an argument when adding your shortcode to specify a specific category or categories to be displayed.

With this, maybe you could alter the way the events are added? Rather than categorizing the events to hide, maybe categorize the events to display?

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Laura,

I apologize for the inconvenience here. We have a process for managing these types of issues and they have to go through a full release cycle.

If you would like, you could temporarily address this issue by removing the capability check for rendering the Organizer and Venue Fields. The files associated here can be found within the “Admin” folder within the core Events Calendar plugin. There are files for the “Organizer” and “Venue” Meta Boxes and you can remove the “current_user_can()” conditionals that you see in those files. There is documentation within the files to help you see where those checks are and ensure you’re removing the right conditionals.

    Thanks!

    Hey Guillaume,

Yes. The tickets are similar to any other product made using WooCommerce and are available to anyone viewing the products (or tickets). You can require that they create an account on checkout. That is all managed within the WooCommerce settings for your cart.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mark,

    Thanks for verifying that!

Definitely strange here since Facebook is able to pick up the appropriate Title setting on your site. I’ve also tested this on my local install and was able to see the appropriate title for the tweet https://cloudup.com/cX95gRaMs0O.

We are limited in the type of support we’re able to provide for issues such as this, particularly if we’re unable to duplicate. However, a couple of things to try:

    • You can try the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if there is anything else impacting the Mashsharer plugin here.
    • Have you tried changing any of the settings here? Maybe moving the location ore seeing if the issue persists if you switch the available share options?

    Thanks!

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Would you mind opening a new ticket for this particular issue since it sounds like it may be a bit different than the original issue here and we want to make sure we can address your questions fully.

    Thanks!

    Hey Stacey,

    Thanks for verifying those steps!

Would you be able to set up a second test site and add the plugins there and see if the issue persists?

Your videos definitely show some strange behavior here that I’m unable to replicate. My next assumption, since we’re not seeing any error logged or shown in PHP or any javascript errors on the page or console, would be a possible resource limitation with the current hosting or a configuration issue that is preventing the import from running behind the scenes.

Were you ever able to run imports on the site or was this an issue that came up later?

    Thanks!

    Hey Benjamin,

That is a documented bug and you should receive notification here on this thread as we make progress on that one. If you have any further questions we’d ask that you’d open a new thread so we can address your questions directly.

    Hey Keith,

I can definitely understand the frustration here. You could modify the table columns to include an additional column for adding information or noting a removed user without refunding or removing them directly from the list. For the content of the column, I’ve used this information for Ajax powered checkboxes in an admin column in the past. It would need a little customization along with updating the meta to fit with the attendee information.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Lisa,

Thanks for following up here! Could you also send a database dump to support[at]theeventscalendar.com? I know I previously mentioned that I didn’t believe this was a database issue, however with what you’re describing about it only happening on this one site it could be potentially be something there that was added in the past by another plugin that didn’t get removed when deactivating or deleting.

We’ll then be able to run some tests using your database content along with this system information. I apologize for the continued issues here, however hopefully this will give us everything we need to get to the root of this particular issue.

    Thanks!
