Is what you mean by your description here something like this list of dates for a band on your website? → https://cloudup.com/cFwanPFX7WI

If so, then you can indeed do what you intend to do here, but it would take some code customization, you’d have to add the Artists or the band name as an Event Category, then get all the upcoming events for that artist or band name. Then you can display it however you’d like, and show a list of upcoming events and their dates like on that page above.

You’d have to take the reins on building out this custom display of events, but you can learn about how to do it with our function tribe_get_events(), which you can read about here.

Thanks for reaching out here, sorry you’ve run into some frustrations here. The /events page can indeed sometimes be hard to work with, but I’m curious if there are specific function calls that you could use to get a specific menu showing up on the main /events page? If Avada has good documentation, or support, you should be able to find this out.

If so, then you might be able to make some slightly-customized versions of the default plugin templates in your own theme. You can do this by simply creating a /tribe-events folder within your theme, then copying the default plugin views in the plugins /views folder, and then just adding that menu-calling function to your theme version of those views.

And note that custom navigation menus themselves can be registered, created, and displayed wholly separate from the Avada theme, or any specific theme – if you haven’t already, definitely give pages on the WordPress Codex like this one a good read: http://codex.wordpress.org/Navigation_Menus

Hey Jaako,

Can you provide links to your site and your events page just so we can see this live? I’m curious what specific areas of the events are showing this compared to areas of Venue and Organizer pages that are not…

As far as I can think right now, unfortunately the only way to do something like this would be to write custom code for your site – likely adding this custom code to your theme’s functions.php file. It may not be something possible, at least within the scope of our customer support here, but share some more details and we’ll see what we can do! 🙂

If you translate an extension, yes, you can receive a license for it for free.

However, please note that an extension cannot be translated until a translation exists for that language for The Events Calendar (free version from wordpress.org) and Events Calendar PRO.
