ParticipantHey David,
Apologies for the delayed response here. I am working on this customized code, and am getting inconsistent results with my iCal output.
I’m wondering—if you specify a high number for the ‘posts_per_page’ argument, instead of the current ‘-1’ value, does anything change with your output?
So instead of this:
$query->set( 'posts_per_page', -1 );This, for example:
$query->set( 'posts_per_page', 300 );Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey David,
Thank you for the screenshots.
Unfortunately it is not possible to achieve what you are trying to do without customizing the plugin code on your site. We cannot help with customizations, unfortunately 🙁 Read the “Product Support” section here for more information on this → http://theeventscalendar.com/terms
You would have to customize the various templates on your site according to the principles laid out in this guide → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
I hope this information helps!

ParticipantHey James,
There is unfortunately no support for events recurring on the same day at this time. 🙁 Bugs like you describe will arise if you try to implement these sorts of events on your site.
We are working on better support for this, but at this time things are as I described here.
I’m sorry James!
Sincerely,

ParticipantHey @Patrick,
Are you using a specific plugin to power the “membership area” of your site? If so, which plugin?
As for your question about font sizes, yes, you can adjust this with custom CSS on your site. If you need to write custom CSS on your site, definitely check out a [free!] tool like Firebug if you use FireFox, or the Developer Tools for either Safari or Chrome. They have “Inspector” tools that let you zoom right over the element whose font styles and et cetera you would like to customize.
Thank you,

ParticipantHey @Piotr,
Thanks for reaching out.
Preventing tickets from a category is not possible unless you write some extensive custom coding.
We unfortunately cannot help with custom coding, but regardless of that, I’m wondering—why not just not enter any tickets on events that don’t have tickets? Regardless of category, if an event does not have tickets, there will be no ticket form or anything that shows up.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you!

ParticipantHey Joan,
We do not have any integration with WooCommerce shortcodes at this time. We cannot help with custom coding of our plugins, but if you are interested in the various templates for Event Tickets Plus and how to customize them, you can learn a safe customization that we recommend here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
The file in Event Tickets Plus that generates the tickets form lives at this file path within the Event Tickets Plus plugin files:
event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.phpI hope this helps!
Best of luck with your customizing.

ParticipantHey Brendan,
You should use the same approach that you and Geoff hashed out in this earlier conversation → https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/changing-presentation-of-data-in-views/
The single-event.php templates are the ones to look for! Loop.php is handy, too.
Best of luck with your customizing!

ParticipantHi Robert,
You could definitely allow some folks to sign up for user accounts on your site and post events from within your site’s wp-admin.
This is a general WordPress feature, not one of our plugins—you do not need any more plugins from us to do this, for example.
To learn how to use WordPress’ own user features to let some folks create accounts and post on your site directly, check out guides like this one → http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-allow-user-registration-on-your-wordpress-site/
I hope this helps!

ParticipantHey @Mad Dog,
Sorry for the trouble and lack of clarity on this!
By default, the subscriber level CAN only “read” events.
However, when you set the “Allow users to edit their submissions” option in Community Events to true, this adds two additional capabilities to the user regardless of their admin role:
• edit_tribe_events
• edit_tribe_venuesAs their name implies, these capabilities allow the user to edit their events and venues.
This does NOT get applied to all users of the subscriber level. This only happens on a per-user basis for users who submit events.
I hope this information helps!

ParticipantHey Kesey,
Our plugin “Event Tickets” is free and has a simple RSVP function. It might work well for your needs → http://wordpress.org/plugins/event-ticekts
Unfortunately we don’t have anything else in our lineup that would provide “reservation” features 🙁
I hope Event Tickets helps!

ParticipantHey Leanne,
Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins!
You do NOT need Events Calendar Pro to use Community Events. All you need is The Events Calendar and Community Events itself 🙂
I hope this helps!

ParticipantHi Laura,
Thanks for reaching out. The Events Calendar could indeed be incompatible with that theme from Elegant Themes. Buying Events Calendar Pro will NOT fix these incompatibilities in any way.
I’m sorry about this incompatibility! If you are really hoping to use that theme and fix the conflicts it has with The Events Calendar, I would recommend contacting the Elegant Themes support team for some theme support.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Jen,
Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins!
I wish I had a definitive “yes” or “no” for you here, but unfortunately I do not know with 100% certainty if the Account Funds extension you linked to would work with our plugins.
It is most likely that it will work fine. Our plugins simply extend the default, built-in WooCommerce “products” infrastructure, so as long as this extension doesn’t alter that behavior, there should not be issues.
The best thing I can recommend is “try it out” firsthand—I’m sorry about this! However, it’s worth noting that both WooCommerce and us have 100% no-questions-asked refund policies so long as you request the refund within 30 days of purchase.
So you get a few weeks to tinker around with the real plugins and see how they behave alongside each other—I would recommend doing this and seeing how they get along!
Thank you,

ParticipantWhile you get the full system information, in the meantime I would recommend that you open a support thread with your web hosting provider. The URLs you shared are odd and seem to suggest possible DNS issues, or something happening on the level of the server.
So I would recommend contacting your web host’s support team about this issue so that they can see if they notice anything funky happening in regards to these links/redirects.
Thank you!
