Post that can have tickets – disable some categories from showing tickets

Hi,

I have set that tickets should be shown only on post. Because I have some post categories I would like to disable tickets on some of them.
Could you help e how to archive it? I found alredy function exclude_product_post_type but i do not know how I could override it in my theme function.php. It should be done with filter or?

Thanks for reaching out.

Preventing tickets from a category is not possible unless you write some extensive custom coding.

We unfortunately cannot help with custom coding, but regardless of that, I’m wondering—why not just not enter any tickets on events that don’t have tickets? Regardless of category, if an event does not have tickets, there will be no ticket form or anything that shows up.

What are your thoughts on this?
