    Hey @Gwebs,

The events calendar page is not a real “page” — it’s really a “feed,” which can be tough to work with when you want to add things to the events calendar page template.

Custom coding is usually required to add things to the events calendar pages. You can learn about these methods here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

    I hope this information helps!

    Hi there,

If you would like to sell tickets and have recurring events, then you would need all of the following plugins installed and activated on your site:

    • The Events Calendar — free.
    • Event Tickets — free.
    • WooCommerce — free.
    • Events Calendar Pro — premium.
    • Event Tickets Plus — premium.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Laura,

Can you link to a specific event on your website that has a featured image?

I will recommend CSS to hide it.

    Thank you!

    Hey Steve,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you elaborate a bit more on the details of your situation? For example:

    1. Where are you importing these events from?

    2. What is the nature of these events? Are they, for example, one “event” that has a bunch of sub-events within it, or is each event happening over multiple days but it still only has one start time and one end time?

If the events have one start time and one end time, they will be imported fine as such into The Events Calendar. However, if you have an “event” that is actually made up of a bunch of smaller events, then the best outcome our software can provide at this time as that each event gets imported as its own standalone item.

Also, I want to underscore the fact that The Events Calendar is completely free! 🙂 So you can try out importing firsthand and see how it works on your site → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar

    Thanks!

    Hi Dario,

Can you create a new test event and add some test tickets to it, and take a screenshot of the WHOLE edit-event screen so I can see how you have configured everything before you publish the event?

YYou can do so by uploading the screenshot to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.

This is an example of the type of screenshot I am requestinghttps://cloudup.com/cyJr6l4gLEd

If you do not know how to take such a screenshot, Google “How to take a full page screenshot in X”, where “X” is the browser you are using. There are many methods so you should be able to find a simple way to do this!

Once you take this screenshot, publish the event. Do the tickets show up?

Let me know and share a link to the screenshot of the event/ticket settings from right before you publish it, and I’ll take a look!

    Thanks,
    George

    Hey Dario,

Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to share the same reply I just gave on another of your threads, but:

The features you are trying to implement are possible, but would unfortunately require many code customizations to implement 🙁

So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks–they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

    Sorry to disappoint, again!

    Hey Larye,

I’ve refunded both of your orders in full. Those funds should be back in your accounts in 5–10 days at most, depending on your bank and on our payment processor, Stripe.

I hope this helps you proceed with the bundles and such—let me know if that’s the case and/or if there’s anything else I can try to help with!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey Larye,

Sure thing, we’re happy to help here! The best course of action would be to refund your existing purchases so that you can proceed from there and buy the bundle you would like to buy.

I will issue those refunds now! 🙂

    Hey Jesse,

What you are trying to do is indeed quite complicated and is a very involved code customization that we cannot help with.

Please see the “Product Support” section of this page for more information about this → http://theeventscalendar.com/terms

Another complicating factor here is that the code being shared in that thread is from 2015, a full year ago, so the code in our plugins has changed since then and those solutions and such are not necessarily valid any longer.

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Jesse! If you are not finding success with writing the custom code on your own, you may want to hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks–they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

Best of luck with your tinkering and customizing!

    Hi Laura,

We addressed this question in this other support thread → https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/incompatible-with-this-theme/

    The problem is your theme.

In the other thread, I recommend some alternative theme shops to buy from. If you want to keep this theme and troubleshoot its problems on your site, please do what was prescribed in that other thread and post to our free support forums here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar

    Thank you,
    George

    Hey Paul,

We’re definitely able to sort this out. Can you forward a copy of your order receipt for Events Calendar Pro to [email protected] with a link back to this thread for reference?

We’ll continue the process from there and get things sorted 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hi Alex,

Yes, it is a yearly fee. The initial cost is the highest; after the first year, each renewal is given at a price that is 30% less than the original cost.

So, if you buy a Personal License for a product, it’s usually $89.00. Then, every year after that to renew it it is only $62.30.

    Hi Simon,

If you activate a default theme like Twenty Sixteen, and then try the customize option, does the customizer work?

If not, what if you leave the Twenty Sixteen theme activated, and then try deactivating all other plugins on your site except for JUST The Events Calendar?

Does the customizer work in either state here?

    Thanks,
    George

    Hey Sara,

You describe your current events as coming from this:

using the wordpress default events feature

There is no default events feature within WordPress, so can you clarify where your existing events are coming from?

That will determine if what you describe is possible or not.

    Thank you!
    George
