ParticipantHi there,
I’m testing your plugins The event calendar and Event Tickets Plus for a clients website for kayak tours. Unfortunately, when I add a ticket to a event, the ticket does not appear (immediately). I get the message that the ticket had been added but it’s not visible in backend, neither in frondend. When I did this yesterday and tried it a several times after some time many tickets were added to the event. But that was after about an hour. Today I don’t see this after two hours, so I guess there’s something wrong…
thanks for helping out and cheers,

ParticipantHi Dario,
Can you create a new test event and add some test tickets to it, and take a screenshot of the WHOLE edit-event screen so I can see how you have configured everything before you publish the event?
YYou can do so by uploading the screenshot to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
This is an example of the type of screenshot I am requesting → https://cloudup.com/cyJr6l4gLEd
If you do not know how to take such a screenshot, Google “How to take a full page screenshot in X”, where “X” is the browser you are using. There are many methods so you should be able to find a simple way to do this!
Once you take this screenshot, publish the event. Do the tickets show up?
Let me know and share a link to the screenshot of the event/ticket settings from right before you publish it, and I’ll take a look!
Thanks,

ParticipantI have some new information regarding this problem. I reinstalled both Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus and now I get a blank page on events to which I tried to added a ticket.
PHP log shows me this:
[07-Mar-2016 10:51:20 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function edd_get_download() in /*/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Commerce/EDD/Main.php on line 604Maybe this helps to find a solution? So basically, Event Tickets (Plus) does not work at all at the moment 😉
Best Regards and thank you very much,

ParticipantThanks for all of this information!
In the fatal error you shared, the missing function comes from Easy Digital Downloads. I see that Easy Digital Downloads is not installed and activated on your site. If you install and activate that plugin on your site, does anything improve here?
If not, then another thing I noticed here is that you have several WPML plugins activated on your site—these plugins could be adding to the conflicts here, because unfortunately our plugins are not compatible with WPML. 🙁 The Events Calendar itself is, to a large degree, but other add-ons like our ticketing plugins have many incompatibilities.
Sorry to disappoint!
If you install and activate Easy Digital Downloads on your site, and deactivate WPML and all of the related WPML plugins on your site, does anything improve with your functions here?
Thank you,

ParticipantHi George,
thanks for helping out. Not good to hear that Event Tickets does not support WPML since I definitely need that.
What does “not support” mean in this case? Could it work but not be translated or is it not possible to work at all?To this thread: I installed Easy Digital Downloads and now it is possible to add tickets using this. But still it’s not possible to use it using WooCommerce.
Do you have any idea to this?`
Thanks and BR,
DarioMarch 22, 2016 at 8:33 am #1092345George
ParticipantHey Dario,
I’m sorry to disappoint in regards to Event Tickets and WPML—what I mean is that there is no special support for WPML, and so it is likely to break on your site and hinder tickets functionality and/or WPML functionality. It will not work.
To this thread: I installed Easy Digital Downloads and now it is possible to add tickets using this. But still it’s not possible to use it using WooCommerce.
Do you mean it’s still not possible just using WooCommerce on its own? Or do you mean that when you go to create tickets, you have three options: RSVP, EDD, and WooCommerce, and only RSVP and EDD work?
Thank you,
GeorgeMarch 22, 2016 at 8:37 am #1092350Dario
ParticipantHi George,
thanks for your answer. The latter: works with EDD but not with WC.
But most probably I have to find another plugin anyway since WPML is fundamental for my website. Sadly, since your plugin is – disregarding that – really good.

ParticipantHey @Dario,
Thanks for clarifying that a bit. I’m sorry about our lack of support WPML—it’s a major pain point for us, too, and something we are hoping to fix, but that will unfortunately not be for many months from now at the earliest, if all goes to plan.
With this in mind, then, do you feel a refund is appropriate? Are you definitively going to move to a different plugin? I am happy to refund your purchases if so—no worries. You simply need to follow the steps here and we’ll issue the refund in full immediately → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
I’m sorry about this situation, @Dario. 🙁
Sincerely,
GeorgeMarch 22, 2016 at 10:33 am #1092489Dario
ParticipantThanks, George, I wrote an email to your support team with ask for refund.
Best Regards,

ParticipantThanks Dario—we’ve processed your refund. Check your email for an email from us confirming that.
Best of luck with your project!
