MemberGotcha, thanks for the extra context!
Do you have to reconnect for every event you want to sync? That would certainly be odd and something I haven’t been able to reproduce on my test site.
I see that your system information shows you working with a default Twenty Fourteen theme and no other plugins installed, but that’s different than what I see when visiting the site — do you happen to know if using the default theme and plugins made any difference in that behavior? So, for example, did the connection issues persist, even in those default conditions?
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi again, Yassin!
Yes, you can reset the timezone by changing your timezone option back to a per-event basis and changing your WordPress timezone settings. Then, publish a few events or so, then move the settings back to what they should be.
And my other question if I buy a license, will all the events that I have already created get deleted?
Not at all — your data will stay in tact.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread since we are already communicating in this other thread. Two threads for the same topic is tough to follow. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberIs there a way to re-update the timezone data?
Yes, you can do that by toggling the sitewide timezone option and resetting your WordPress timezone settings.
Happy to buy a license if you guys can resolve this for me.
And we’d definitely be happy to support you! I do want to make sure I’m setting the right expectation though that technical support questions (like this one) in these forums is only open for active license holders. For other support, please do hit us up in the WordPress.org forum and we will definitely help you out on our next pass.
Cheers!

MemberHi Kami and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry for the trouble here with syncing events from WordPress to Eventbrite, but I’m happy to look into it with you.
I believe I may have lost a connection to one EB event by saving the Event in WP when I appear to have lost authentication issues.
Just to clarify: does resubmitting the Get Authorization option also resolve the error with the missing venue? I just want to make sure so I can properly test this on my end and see the results.
Thanks!

MemberHowdy Romaric and thanks for getting in touch!
Great questions. I’m afraid that the event organizer does not get a notification when an RSVP is made on an event, but they can certainly see the attendees and manage them.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know and I’d be happy to help with any others you might have. 🙂
Cheers,

MemberAh, bummer. Thanks for the additional info!
I’ve been clicking around and trying to find something specific but am coming up short. I do see that the full calendar view is indeed working, so that’s good.
That leads me to believe that the core issue is that Javascript conflict, since it only seems to happen on a page that is generated by the theme template rather than the calendar template–that, and the fact that the shortcode does work in the default WordPress theme.
A couple things you could try before searching for new themes:
- Checking if there are any options within the theme to disable scripts. Not all themes have this, but it’s worth looking. This could be in a Settings or Customize screen.
- Enable the calendar Debug Mode under Events Settings (screenshot). Enabling this will provide additional information in the console that could point to something.
- You’ll notice that last option has some instructions for using the Debug Bar plugin. That is another route we could try to find the exact conflict.
Hopefully one of these will yield more information! Sorry I haven’t been able to track it down to this point.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberRight on! So glad that did the trick and I appreciate your following up to let me know.
Have a great day and please feel free to hit us up with a new thread if any other questions pop up–we’d be happy to help. 🙂

MemberThanks for following up, Luke!
Shoot, I’m unable to see the content from the link you shared because it requires a login. No worries, though! You can share any pertinent information from that and I’d be happy to do my best with it to see what we can possibly do on this end to resolve the incompatibility–though I definitely cannot guarantee that we will be able to solve it.
Thanks!

MemberHi Yassin,
Sorry for the trouble here with timezone settings!
I’d be happy to help you–but first–can you confirm that you have an active license for one of our premium products? We provide technical support here in these forums for customers with active licenses and use this Pre-Sales forum to help answer questions related to the plugin’s features prior to purchase.
If you have a support license, please do sign in with the account you created during checkout. If you need assistance locating your account, I’d be happy to help. Or, if you don’t have a license, you can either purchase one or post to our WordPress.org forum where we provide free support for The Events Calendar each week.
In the meantime, you are also welcome to check out this post we have on setting up timezone support in the plugin.
Thanks!
