GuestWe have the general > settings > timezone option set as “use the sitewide timezone everywhere”
However, regardless of what timezone we set the wordpress site at, the buttons are set to UTC 0 and can’t be changed.
(the google calendar button though is working fine)

MemberHi Yassin,
Sorry for the trouble here with timezone settings!
I’d be happy to help you–but first–can you confirm that you have an active license for one of our premium products? We provide technical support here in these forums for customers with active licenses and use this Pre-Sales forum to help answer questions related to the plugin’s features prior to purchase.
If you have a support license, please do sign in with the account you created during checkout. If you need assistance locating your account, I’d be happy to help. Or, if you don’t have a license, you can either purchase one or post to our WordPress.org forum where we provide free support for The Events Calendar each week.
In the meantime, you are also welcome to check out this post we have on setting up timezone support in the plugin.
Thanks!

GuestBy mistake, I updated the timezone data without FIRST changing the wordpress site timezone. Now the export buttons are setting the events at the WRONG timezone 🙁
Is there a way to re-update the timezone data?
Happy to buy a license if you guys can resolve this for me.

Yes, you can do that by toggling the sitewide timezone option and resetting your WordPress timezone settings.
Happy to buy a license if you guys can resolve this for me.
And we’d definitely be happy to support you! I do want to make sure I’m setting the right expectation though that technical support questions (like this one) in these forums is only open for active license holders. For other support, please do hit us up in the WordPress.org forum and we will definitely help you out on our next pass.
Cheers!

MemberSure thing, Yaasin! Here’s a link to Events Calendar PRO:
https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/PRO is an extension of The Events Calendar, so both will be installed and active on your site at the same time. You will be promoted to create an account when you checkout, which you can then use to post to our premium forums.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread since it is in Pre-Sales and we’ll see you in the Events Calendar PRO forum here:
Cheers!
