    Hello there!

I’m afraid there is no feature in our plugins that allow you to blacklist a user. However, if you are using Community Events for visitors to submit events to your calendar, then you can require that someone signs into WordPress first before being allowed to submit an event — and, as a registered user on your site, you have the ability to restrict their access from there.

Hey Tony — thanks for getting in touch and I hope you had a great weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚

Excellent questions. Yes, the events that are submitted via the Community Events form will display on The Events Calendar. There is a way for folks to see just the events they have submitted, but everything that is published goes to the same calendar.

Where can I download the version of the theme being used at shindig.com

The latest version of the WP Shindig theme can be downloaded here:
    http://wpshindig.com/download-mt-demo-theme/

The difference between what you might be seeing on the demo site and what is installed is that the demo site currently requires you to be signed into WordPress in order to submit an event — that’s a setting in Events > Settings > Community.

    Hi @scrawf,

Good question! I think it would be possible to create tickets for each event if you were to list all the ticket options on the main event itself — however, that might be a really long list of tickets, depending on how many variations there are.

Another way would be to create all the tickets for the events and then change the visibility settings for them so that the tickets are displayed in the WooCommerce product catalog on your site. That would allow visitors to see all the tickets at once and purchase them, as needed.

If that doesn’t sound like a good idea, then I think you’re right that Event Tickets Plus might not be the best fit for your site. Hopefully one of those options work though!

    Cheers,

Hi Martin, hope you had a great weekend!

Will you please send me a link to the button you’re looking at? I can provide you with a CSS snippet to hide the button, but need to see your site in order to make sure it works.

    Thanks!

    Hi Vince,

Thanks for reaching out — I’m so glad to hear you’re considering The Events Calendar for your project and it sounds really interesting. ๐Ÿ™‚

The Events Calendar does indeed work well with the Divi theme. There is one compatibility issue we are aware of with pagination, but we have a tutorial available on how to fix it.

The Unlimited license of Events Calendar PRO is exactly what you’re looking for. That will provide you access to both support and plugin updates for all your subdomains once the license key has been entered onto each site. And, yes, you can indeed use the license on other projects as well and can use the plugin in Guam.

Do you offer discounts to registered 501c3 non-profit organizations?

We do! We actually have an application processย that, if accepted, would provide you with a free Events Calendar PRO license — though I do want to note that it is for an unsupported license of the product. You can read much more information on our nonprofit program here.

    Hiย Ivailo,

Great question! While the plugin itself does not connect directly to MailChimp, you are definitely able to export a list of registered attendees for each event and upload that CSV file directly into MailChimp to create an email subscriber list.

Hello Erin — hope you had a great weekend!

Yes, and in fact, Month View already shows images and excerpts for each event when hovering over them. Here’s a screenshot of how that looks.

We also have a tutorial on how to add the featured image of an event directly to the month view, if that’s something you’re interested in doing:

Hello Francois! Hope you had a great weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚

Good question. You can log into this site, head to My Account > License Keys and click the upgrade option you are looking for next to the license number (screenshot). That will only charge you for the upgrade price and extend your license for one year from the date of the upgrade.

    Hi Dave,

You can absolutely remove that message — even in the free version of the plugin. You can find that setting by heading to Events > Settings, de-selecting the option at the top of the screen (screenshot) and then saving your settings.

Hi Chris — happy Monday and hope you had a great weekend!

Yes, all of our plugins are indeed responsive. We unfortunately do not have a live demo of Event Tickets Plus, but Event Tickets is a free download and we offer a full refund on all our products within 30 days of purchase if you want to give Event Tickets Plus a try as well.

Will this help you get started? Please let me know. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey Chris — hope you had a great weekend!

Good question. If you were to purchase the Ultimate Bundle within 3o daysย of purchasing Community Events, then we could simply refund you for the Community Events purchase.

Or, if it’s going to be longer than that, please let us know when you make the Ultimate Bundle purchase, reference this thread, and we can selectively refund the Community Events portion of the bundle, extend your existing Community Events license for you, and then you will be all good to go. Either way, we can help you out. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Viresh, hope you had a great weekend!

Yes, you will need bothย Events Calendar PRO and Filter Bar to get all the functionality you are looking for. Events Calendar PRO will provide you the calendar views and Filter Bar the ability for visitors to filter events in any of those views.

Hi Colinz, thanks so much for the screenshot!

Notice that the “End Date” for the event is “26/6/2016”? You will want to change that to 2/6/2016 instead. Right now, the system thinks the event lasts 24 days and then repeats everyday, which is why we’re seeing all those events on the calendar. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Cheers!
