MemberHowdy Jeanette,
Great question. If we’re talking about two WordPress sites, then I think that would be possible to do using The Events Calendar on both sites and then adding iCal Importer to the site you want to import events into. The iCal Importer will run on a schedule and import events automatically from one site to the other to share the events across sites.
Would that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Chris and thanks for getting in touch!
To be honest, there isn’t one recommended theme that comes to mind. We do our best to make the plugin integrate with as many themes as possible — however, it’s tough if a specific theme has very set styles for form fields because those can override the plugin’s styles and jumble the layout around.
That said, I’ve seen successful implementations used with Divi, Avada and a few others from Rescue Themes. We use the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme as a baseline for compatibility, so anything that builds off that or maintains a similar level of styling options would work best.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi @hpseo, nice to see you again and hope all is well!
Yes, that would be possible, though I do want to note that it will take a bit of custom development to make it happen. That said, I’d be happy to point you in the right direction as best I can!
I would do something like this:
- Make a new page template based on one of your existing theme templates that already has a right sidebar
- Include the ticket template in the sidebar. The ticket form is located at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php
- Select the template to use for the default calendar template in Events > Settings > Display
Sorry I don’t have more of a concrete solution for you here, but I hope this at least helps get you started.
Thanks!

MemberHi TJ,
I’m afraid it will take a bit more custom development to edit the List View template itself than we are able to support here in the Pre-Sales forum.
I did find this GitHub repo and, while I did not test it personally, perhaps it will at least help get you started in the right direction.
Did you have any questions about purchasing any of our premium plugins? If so, please let me know and I’d be happy to help.
Cheers!

MemberI should add that all of our documentation for Events Calendar PRO is available here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/plugin/the-events-calendar-pro/Geoff
MemberThat’s a good question — I know the code for that is in Events Calendar PRO here:
/wp-content/plugin/events-calendar-pro/src/functions/template-tags/general.php
…and you would likely want to re-cycle that logic to build upon your own.

MemberGreat question, Yoni!
Yes, you can use Facebook Events with The Events Calendar. In other words, Events Calendar PRO is not needed for Facebook Events to import events into the calendar.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi TJ — thanks for getting in touch!
You can actually use the tribe_get_events() function in the free version to create a custom query of events in a template os that both past and upcoming events display on a single page. Events Calendar PRO does not have a specific setting to do that, but you can certainly create that list of events using the function.
In fact, we have a nice tutorial available on how to use the function with some specific examples.
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Brian,
Great question! Yes, you can embed multiple instances of the Events Calendar PRO widget shortcodes. As far as overriding the template, there is only one set of templates per widget to override (and, yes, correctly in the child theme!). If you’re looking to completely change the markup of the same widget in multiple places, then I think that would be a limitation you’ll run into — however, if you’re changing styling and are ok with using CSS to alter the layout, then I think you will be just fine because you can use a page’s body class to target a specific widget instance.
Does this make sense and will it work for you? Please let me know. :O)
Cheers!

MemberHey Michael and thanks for checking in on this!
That issue has indeed been resolved — the latest versions of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus will ensure that scanning the barcode of an attendee twice will only result in a single check in. 🙂
There is no error that displays if a barcode has been scanned twice, but you can filter the report of attendees by those who have specifically checked in.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!
