MemberThanks for following up, Don! The answer to #2 is no, I’m afraid. There is no optional field or setting to display the original Facebook URL for an event that has been imported using Facebook Events.
However, it can be achieved and we actually have a tutorial on how to do it using a snippet in your theme’sย functions.php file:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/link-to-fb-event
Will that do the trick for you? Please let me know and thanks again for hanging with me while we figure this out together — you’ve been both gracious and patient and I appreciate it.

MemberThanks so much!
Try putting this in either your child theme’sย style.css file or using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:
#tribe-events .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-content { display: none; }Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when I tested it out on your site. Will it work for you as well?
Thanks!

MemberHi Don and thanks for both following up and clarifying your point — sorry if I’ve been muddling it up.
I’m afraid that Facebook Events will not link back to the original source by default. If you were to make the events’s URL the Facebook URL, then that would import into The Events Calendar and display.
Sorry again for causing more confusion than necessary but I hope this helps answer your question.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberExcellent! I’m so glad that did the trick. ๐
Cheers and definitely let us know if any other questions come up — we’d be happy to help.

MemberHi Dragan and welcome to the forums!
Just to confirm, are you trying to reverse the order in which events are displayed? If so, please try adding this snippet to yourย functions.php file and it should do the trick:
https://gist.github.com/geoffgraham/39d59bf67175e9b93bda
I want to note that we are fairly limited in how much we can support custom development questions like this, but hopefully that snippet does the trick. If not, I’d be happy to help point you in the right direction as best I can!
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi @Alessandro,
Will you please send me a link to your site? I might be able to write you a custom CSS snippet to hide the description but need to check your site out first to make sure it will work.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Luis,
Great questions!
The Events Calendar actually does not include a way for you to download events directly to your FTP application, although you can use the WordPress exporter, a database export, a .csv file or .ics file of events as alternative ways to do it.
If you are trying to import events from Office 365, then you might want to check out our iCal Importer plugin. It will fetch events from an external calendar app that has a valid iCal feed and import the events into The Events Calendar. I do want to note, however, that iCal Importer does one-way imports, meaning it will only import events into The Events Calendar rather than the other way around.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi Chris, thanks for getting in touch!
I actually saw a nice example of someone using Event Tickets and Event Ticket Plus right hereย and another one the other day here.
Community Events has some great example as well:

Did you have any questions about the features included in the plugins? Let me know and I’d be happy to help. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi Guri,
Great question! Yes, The Events Calendar provides ways to both export events in .ics and .csv format for importing into other calendars. Not all other calendars or apps respect those file formats, but they are the most standard for calendaring.
And, those are included in the base version of the plugin, which is free to download anytime:

MemberThanks so much, David!
It appears that the test site is still using a non-default WordPress theme. Would you be willing to deactivate Divi in favor of WordPress Twenty Sixteen instead and trying to create tickets again? Sorry for the trouble, but this will help ensure we are both testing from the same default place together.
Once you’ve deactivated Divi and activated Twenty Sixteen, please head over to Events > Settings > Help, copy the system information at the bottom of the screen and paste it here for me as a private reply — that will help me match my site’s settings to yours.
Thanks!

MemberMy pleasure! Thanks for letting us know and I hope you enjoy using both Events Calendar PRO and Eventbrite Tickets together. ๐

MemberHey Don, thanks for the info! Your settings look all good and that helps a lot.
Do the events you are importing from Facebook have a website URL entered in Facebook? I tried importing the events you provided and no website is importing from those events (screenshot).
Compare that when trying to import this other event (screenshot):
https://www.facebook.com/events/698984756870841/Will you please confirm that the events that are being imported from Facebook have a URL? If they do not, then Facebook Events will not import any information for that field.
Thanks!

MemberThanks for following up, David!
I’ve been trying to see if I can get the same error on my end, but no luck so far. The next thing I would like to try here is creating a fresh test site – this will avoid any disruption to your live site and ensure that we’ve effectively got a “clean canvas” to work with.
- Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory (if you have a CPanel-type hosting account there will probably be a one-click install script to make this really easy)
- Don’t install anything except Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
- Please also stick to a default WordPress theme (ideally Twenty Sixteen) — again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
- Try creating tickets on a page or post
- Can you replicate the same problem?
If you find you can replicate the problem under these conditions it would be awesome if you could stop and let us know so we can take a look while the site is still running under default conditions.
Thanks for your help!
