MemberOh, I see what you’re saying — thanks for clarifying Josh! My bad here, because I gave you bad advice up front.
The template you’re looking for is actually the edit-event.php file in that same directory. That has all the markup for the community/add screen.
Sorry about that and I hope this makes a lot more sense as you add gutters to the screen.
Cheers!

MemberNo worries at all, Ameet! I’ll go ahead and close this thread since I see you’ve already marked it as resolved. We’ll see you in the next thread. 🙂

MemberGreat follow-up question!
The difference is that you can allow event submissions from the front-end of your site without having to grant any privileges to the WordPress admin to anyone. In other words, you can certainly create a custom role and use a role manager plugin to provide access just for publishing events, but that person still has access to your WordPress admin. That permission can be lifted in Community Events, plus it provides a way for those submitting events to keep track of only the events they have submitted.
Hope this helps!

MemberSure thing! The renewal price for Events Calendar PRO is currently $62 ($89 with a 30% discount applied).
In other words, you originally purchased The Events Calendar for $89 and then later renewed the license (twice) for $62. I refunded the duplicated renewal purchase for you and now you have an active license key.
Does that help clarify things a bit? Please let me know.
Thanks!

MemberHi Josh, thanks for following up!
If it was me, I would likely start by trying to override the existing CSS instead of overriding the entire templates.
We have a tutorial that includes tips for locating the calendar classes that is a great starting point:
Once you have identified the classes to change, you can add those directly to your theme’s style.css file or using the Simple Custom CSS plugin to inject them.
Will that work for you? Please let me know!

MemberHi Scott, thanks for following up!
You are able to use the Business-level license using the method suggested in my last reply:
If you’re ok with one of the four sites not having access to automatic plugin updates or access to our support forums, then I would suggest getting the Business-level license. The plugin can be installed and will still continue to work without the license entered, but it will just be unable to pull in automatic updates when new versions of the plugin are available. In other words, you’d have to install those updates manually.
That will allow you to have the plugin installed on all four sites without needing to jump up to the Agency-level license.
Cheers!

MemberSorry, Richard, I am still not seeing a link or screenshot in your last reply. Will you please try again?
If you’re referring to the WooCommerce new order screen (screenshot), then you will want to first click the “Add product(s)” button and then search for the ticket you want to add to the order.
Thanks!

MemberHi Josh,
Yes, that is correct. Each add-on is sold individually with the Personal-level license pricing for each add-on being $89 for a total cost of $267 for all three.
We do offer discounts and promotions from time to time and you can stay updated with the latest deals here:

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHi Scott and thanks for writing in!
Is your client looking for The Events Calendar or one of our premium add-ons? If they’re looking for The Events Calendar, that plugin is completely free-of-charge and available to download and use on WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
If your client is looking to add Events Calendar PRO (or any of our other calendar add-ons), then it offers an Agency-level license that includes updates and support for up to 10 sites for $299.
There is a Business-level license just below that for $149 that includes updates and support for up to three sites.
Does this make sense and will it work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Josh — hope you had a great weekend!
Great question. The main template file is called default-placeholder.php and can be found here:
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/default-placeholder.php
The trick with Community Events templating is that the main template actually consists of all the files located in the modules directory, which is located in the same place as the template. Open that up and you’ll see all the various modules the main template uses, from the event editor to the venue editor.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
