MemberGreat Cara 🙂
Does this mean the issue is resolved?

I haven’t seen this bug appear the same way before. In fact, the list view also doesn’t look like how our list view is normally displayed.
Does this happen if you switch to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Seventeen?
I’d suggest also reaching out to your theme’s support as well because of how differently they have laid out the photo and list view modes with our plugin.
Let me know what they say.
Thanks,

MemberAh, thanks for clarifying John 🙂
I’d start with testing how your /events page when you change these settings: Events » Settings » Display » Default stylesheet used for events templates & Events template.
After that, there are other ways to modify the look of your events.
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- Typically, don’t change the theme or plugin’s css files, they will be overwritten on updates. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
Let me know if this helps.

MemberThanks for the update John 🙂
Google Maps – Could you double check your settings in Events » Settings » General » Maps? Then also check that you have the API key entered just once under the API tab in the same location.
It is worth noting, some themes want the API key as well. Having it in 2 locations can cause an error.
Let me know if any of that helps.

MemberHi Camilla
I’m starting to see more Avada users having this issue. I hope they send along a fix soon. In the meantime, could you add this CSS code to your site?
.single-tribe_events .secondary .tribe-events-venue-map {
width: 100%;
}
That should fix the map width issue.

MemberHi Cara
Can you send me a link to the page this is happening on? I’d be happy to take a look at the issue.

MemberHi Rob
Before we test out the PHP version issue, can you do a Test for Conflicts? It will really help us to know if this is a PHP issue truly, or a plugin/theme conflict in disguise.
Let me know what you find with all other plugins disabled and a default WordPress theme. If the issue persists at that time, we can dive in to the PHP errors.

MemberHi Amanda
Community Events is an additional plugin beyond Events Calendar Pro.
I haven’t used Uber Menu, so I am not sure how well that our shortcodes integrate with it.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks,

MemberHi Kumar
Unfortunately, that isn’t an option we currently have. However, you can navigate to the month you want to see, and grab that URL. For example, you could change out the navigation menu item to a custom link that goes to http://wpshindig.com/events/2017-07/.
It would still mean that when a user clicks on “All Events”, they return to /events.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

MemberHi John,
Can you help me understand a little bit more of what you are trying to do? Does using our plugin prevent you from changing your WordPress theme?
Hoping to help you resolve this soon.
Thanks,

MemberHi Terry
Unfortunately we’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms. This is especially true this week as most of our team is out for the annual company retreat.
But a few tips to help you carry this further include:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- Typically, don’t change the theme or plugin’s css files, they will be overwritten on updates. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.

I hope this helps. Is there anything else I can do to help you?

MemberHI Alessia
We use JSON for Linking Data in relation to events.  You can see how our demo site turns up in Google Structured Data Testing Tool results. https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=http%3A%2F%2Fwpshindig.com%2Fevents%2F

MemberHi Matt
I had the same CSV issue when I tried importing events to a local install. WordPress had a known issue at the time, and I needed to install Disable Real MIME Check to make it work. This was supposed to be fixed in the last update of WordPress. However, it might still resolve the issue for you. AFter you are done importing, I’d strongly suggest deactivating and deleting that plugin.
We do offer 30 day refunds if you find the plugin does not meet your needs. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.
Is there anything else I can do to help you?
Thanks,
