ParticipantThanks! I’m seeing the following javascript error when viewing your site: http://grab.by/yLlo Can you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. Give that a try and let me know what you discover.
Thanks! ๐

Participantbarrybradford,
Thanks for getting in touch! Hopefully I can help you with these issues, but let’s tackle them one at a time.1) I cannot select which widgets to appear / hide in the footer of the page. All of the widgets appear. I tried to fool the Events Calendar by making a new page, calling it โscheduleโโฆand before assigning the Events Calendar to โscheduleโ, selected which widgets were to appear, getting it how we wanted it. You can see that now โ http://barrybradford.com/schedule/
But when I went to the settings tab in Events Calendar and assigned it to โscheduleโ, all my widget settings were disregarded.
Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further.
2) When Iโm on http://barrybradford.com/speaking-schedule/ and looking at the page, I see the calendar on the page as I should, but note that the item thatโs highlighted in my primary menu and the menu in the footer highlights โblogโ as though the visitor is on the blog page and not the speaking-schedule page, which is also in the menu.
Do you know why this is happening and what to do about it?This is something specific to your theme’s setup, since your theme thinks the Events Calendar is a Blog Post archive. Try adding your ‘Blog’ menu item as a Custom URL and see if that fixes the issue.
Thanks! ๐

Participantstefaanvandamme,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try using the ‘Default Page Template’ to see if that resolves the issue? You can do this by going to ‘Events->Settings->Display.’ This determines what page template the Events Calendar and Community add-on will use when displaying content.Give that a shot and let me know if it fixes the issue. Thanks! ๐

ParticipantCould you share the URL to your calendar with me, so I can investigate further? The link you provided (http://engage.altegrahealth.wpengine.com/events/) doesn’t seem to be working. Thanks! ๐

ParticipantGeorge,
I’m noticing that you have some caching plugins enabled. Could you try testing for conflicts and let me know what you discover? I suspect that this might be an issue related to your theme or a plugin conflict, but want to confirm before troubleshooting further. Thanks! ๐

Participantalexwg85,
It appears that you’re including jQuery in your theme twice. It’s possible that’s causing the issue.Casey
ParticipantLars,
You need to change the ‘Events for list’ text to match the title that currently displays on your list view, which is currently ‘Upcoming Events’. Give that a try. Thanks! ๐-Casey-
