ParticipantKristel,
Our developers have confirmed that this is a legitimate bug, and will have a fix in the next release of Community. Thanks so much for identifying this! Just let me know if you have further questions.Casey
ParticipantJamie,
In regards to changing the title, just paste this into your theme’s functions.php file and you should be good to go! https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/6143707Thanks and let me know if you have further questions.

ParticipantJamie,
Thanks for reaching out! Regarding your first question, if you’re wanting to add some intro text before the ‘Events List’ you can just add the following code to your theme’s function.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/6143167I’ll keep looking into the best way to change the title, so stay tuned on that one.
Regarding your second question, could you re-post that over in the EC Pro forum, since it’s not really related to the Community Add-on? Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantTayls,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry you’re having issues. We should be able to hide some of these sections by just using some CSS and jQuery.First, just add the following CSS to the end of your theme’s stylesheet: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/6125290
Secondly, add the following to your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/6125378
Give that a shot and let me know if that hides the ‘Event Images’ and ‘Cost’ sections for you. Thanks!

ParticipantRduncan10,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m going to go ahead and move this thread over to the EC PRO forum, since this isn’t really Community related. Someone will follow up with you there ASAP. Thanks!Casey

ParticipantMax,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m not sure I quite follow your question. Are you wanting to display the ‘Eventbrite’ event options on the front-end Event submission form?Casey
ParticipantKristel,
In the mean time, I might be able to help with a styling workaround for you. Could you send me a link to your ‘Event Submission’ page? Thanks!Casey
ParticipantKristel,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having issues. I’m seeing the same issue as far as the empty style tag is concerned, along with the extra paragraph tags. I’ll pass this onto our developers for them to investigate further.Stay tuned. Thanks!

ParticipantGregory,
Thanks for the insight regarding the URL rewrites. I’m not sure how widely requested that functionality is, but please suggest this feature on our User Voice page and we can see if others are wanting something similar.Regarding the number of queries being performed, I’m going to open up a ticket and pass this information on to our developers for them to investigate further. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks!

ParticipantZedinho,
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’re having issues. I’m seeing a JS error in your theme (http://d.pr/i/vjEX). Can you confirm that you have deactivated all other plugins and switched to the default 2012 theme to check for any conflicts?Give that a shot and let me know if you’re still having this issue. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantNini,
Thanks for reaching out! You should be able to do this by adding this little bit of CSS to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/6066185Let me know if you have further questions about how to add that. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantJen,
Hey! Hopefully I can help you out with your widget styling issues. Can you verify that you’re using the correct widget? I suspect that you’ve accidentally selected the ‘Calendar’ widget and not the ‘Events Calendar’. (See this screnshot: http://d.pr/i/sO48)Can you double check that and let me know? Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantGregory,
Thanks for reaching out with these issues. It’s my understanding that URL rewriting will only occur with pasted URLs if the URL is using standard WordPress query params. Since we’re using custom query params in that URL, WordPress won’t rewrite it.Regarding the performance issue, are you noticing sluggishness with the page loading? Could you give me a link so that I could take a look and get an idea for how many events you have, page load time, etc?
Just let me know and I’ll see what I can find. Thanks so much!
