MemberHow about a phpinfo() dump?
All that ‘Help’ section does is list all themes plugins along with php version and some other items. But if you can get that to me in other ways we don’t need the Help tab.
Who is your host?

MemberThat’s a little bizarre, sorry for the frustration!
Your plugin will work on local instances without registering.
On your production system, in the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?
If you have access to your server access or error logs that *might* be enlightening, but I doubt it.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberHello manifdart,
I think this is a simple url problem. I’m not sure how the links/names/slugs are being generated, but the English menu url is wrong.
Here is the working link (when you click “English”). Notice the French ‘categorie’ >> http://manifdart.org/en/evenements/categorie/expos/
Here is the broken link from the menu. Notice the English ‘category’. >> http://manifdart.org/en/evenements/category/expos/
If you edit the menu link to say ‘categorie’ like the top link, it will work.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberFor multisite installs the license field is in the Tools section of the Network base install. Sorry for all the confusion :/

MemberI believe a key needs to be entered on the Licenses tab for the system info to load.

Can you do this for both your local and production servers? I’d like to know if there is a difference in environments.
Thanks for your patience on this, most of our team is out today and I haven’t seen this one before.

MemberA small php file with phpinfo()in it, will reveal a lot of information about the system. Be sure to reply privately of course, but there shouldn’t be anything vulnerable that you would be posting.
For example, if you create a file called ‘info.php’ and put it in the root directory of you website, when you go to http://yourwebsite.com/info.php, you’ll get a bunch of information dumped out [Example]. Copy and paste the info here, in a private reply.
The ‘info.php’ file simply contains this:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>I think you are running out of memory because of your system, and this will tell me more about your system.
Do you know about how many events you have? I’m not sure that matters though.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

MemberHello revmsg,
Most of our support team is out today and Monday, sorry up front for any delays.
So far we’re not really sure why it’s causing the redirect, but I think it is connected to the duplicate problem you had. You say when you commented out this part:
683 if ( /*is_singular(TribeEvents::POSTTYPE) &&*/ get_query_var('eventDate') && has_action('wp_head', 'rel_canonical') ) {the problem goes away? Ultimately we’d like to be able to reproduce it or trace it on our end, so I could I have you do two things?
– In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?
– There is a plugin to remove erroneous duplicate events linked in this press release. Could you run it on your local environment and see if that fixes the problem?Does this make sense? I’ll get back to you soon.
Cheers!

May 2, 2014 at 9:16 am in reply to: jQuery Vertical Accordion Menu defaults to open on Events page #148251Casey D
MemberHello niki_sebi,
Thanks for posting your info. Unfortunately most of our team is out today so I’m not sure I’ll be able to get you a solid answer today. Maybe closer to Tuesday, sadly.
I believe there is some sort of javascript conflict with http://wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-vertical-accordion-menu/, but I’m not sure if it is fixable yet.
The menu appears ‘open’ because javascript is completely failing on the events page, so the menu never closes. I’ll get in contact with our devs and report back soon.
Thanks for your patience!

MemberHello teamworks,
Sorry for the delay. I think this problem is beyond the scope of my current expertise and beyond the scope of the forums.
That said, I’ll leave this thread open and revisit in the next few days if I have time or if you have developments, just as a matter of personal curiosity. Officially I cannot offer any support on this customization, especially as we are swamped right now, but if I get a few free brain cycles later I’ll see if I can revisit later. I think there might be other user that would be potentially interested in this solution, and we could make a tutorial from it if it succeeds.
Feel free to post any updates that I may take a look at.
Cheers!
